Lmao @ Alex hahahahaha!!! I was trimming some wires which go to the airbag sensor block thing to get them ready to solder and BANG. I must have short circuited some, and silly me didn't even bother disconecting the battery. When it went pop I thought some bastard bricked my window!

Tiny number plates ftw! This way the IC can get plenty of air. Also I still think you should go chop chop with the top grille bars ;)

When painting plastic make sure you use the correct plastic primer otherwise it will flake over time and look awful. It all depends on the correct lacquer really, all the paint can be the same.

I tried both ways. With the battery disconnected and while it was disconnected too. When I did all the wiring it was obviously disconnected (well most of the time!) I've checked and there is no short circuit to be found and all the wiring used is correct which is from another Starlet.
