  1. 4EFTE is it? We have them here if you need one mate.
  2. We have the ARP bolts you need available on our website Sean
  3. We have both available on our website, I could offer you a good deal on both
  4. Yes the ID is 19mm. You'll need a 90 degree bent hose as a straight one will crease if you try to bend it that far.
  5. I'll take reasonable offers on mine. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/index.php?showtopic=58861
  6. We have them brand new on our website at £99.95
  7. Everyone wanted them after seeing them on mine They're still quite rare compared to other wheels though, only seen a few Starlets with them. I relaxed mine with 15s a while ago.
  8. 16 x 8" on mine, ET10.
  9. The wheels will be refurbished a different colour, not decided just yet though. So, seeing as work is quiet due to Christmas, I thought it'd be the perfect chance to start my engine build. The cylinder head isn't rebuilt yet so I planned to build the short block for now and fit the head when it's ready. Started by digging out all the parts from clean storage and got the block painted. I went for black once again just so it looks nice and clean. Once that was done, I cleaned up the crank, assembled the pistons/rods and fitted the bearings. All was going fine until it came to the thrust washers, or lack of!! The damn machine shop haven't given them back to me! I didn't notice this as everything was boxed up since I got the engine back from the engineers months ago, and I assumed the thrust washers would be there along with everything else. Clearly not. Now I can't do anything with it until I get a new set of washers, and that'll most likely be the new year when I'm busy again and have no time to build it. I don't keep these in stock at work as 5E parts are slower sellers but I wish I did now, plenty of 4E sets in stock but nothing for the 5E. Wounded!! Chances are that everything's going back in to storage for a few more months.
  10. Merry Christmas mate, have a good one!
  11. What's wrong with a convertible? That's what I'm looking at, preferably with a hard top.
  12. The M3 is gorgeous, is it an SMG? I almost bought one yesterday. One the hunt for a good one now.
  13. Stock vs stock I'd have a GT. Recaros in a Glanza make it a different car all together IMO. the standard seats offer a rubbish driving position but its nothing a nice set of seats can't fix. Glanza does it for me, although I do have both.
  14. I had over 70 and eventually threw them all in the recycling bin as I don't like keeping stuff I don't need.
  15. I use JPerformance on the demo car
  16. We can have it made in Black gelcoat but it'll still need painting.
  17. 10w40 semi-synthetic is the most common choice on a stock motor. We have oil in stock if you need any.
  18. We have special offers on our FRP parts until Christmas day. Bumpers are £159.95, usual price is £199.95.
  19. No, that doesn't make sense
  20. I just cleaned mine recently, go me!
  21. Wow, I seriously am impressed. I never drove my brothers mainly because it was just too expensive to run. I did a 250 mile trip in it once and it properly pulled my pants down. Just cruised at 70mph but the revs sit so high with the short ratio gears and I could almost see the fuel needle going down
  22. Sure. My old GT reached 149mph (on the AVC-R, not the speedo) before I let off. That was running 211bhp. Jack, I'm amazed that your Glanza is worse on fuel than your EP3. EP3s are absolutely horrendous on fuel. I thought about buying one but that's the only thing that let me off. Starlets are awesome on fuel when driven sensibly, EP3s are drink like a tank no matter how you drive! Speaking of reliabilty, I wouldn't say the EP3 is more reliable than a well set up Starlet. I am breaking a Type R right now and I've lost count on the amount of phone calls I've had asking for engines due to bottom end failure on the K20.
  23. You'd be surprised at how well a TD04'd Starlet can perform on top end. My brothers old EP3 didn't have a patch on my old TD04 Glanza even on the motorway. Mine was running 219bhp but even 200bhp would be enough to stay in front imo. Get back in a Starlet
  24. Remove the actuator and get the wastegate welded shut.
  25. I have the exact same problem with mine, the only difference is that my box is a good one and I don't want to destroy it, I just need to get the inner CV out. I've taken out dozens before but this one is absolutely stuck in. Tried everything under the sun but it won't budge. This box has a Quaiffe diff too.
