  7. av got the over manifold route which am changing at the minute for the shorter route am gunna go for external waste gate, mite aswell for the extra £100 or so, would probly hold boost better aswell as a better flow, I want to run 1 bar so where is the best place to go for the wastegate? also what spring? any more links would be great, cheers guys
  8. a local garage should be able to do a battery test, am sure its just something simple, these cars don't like the cold just go around the ht leads make sure its all good maybe check the dizzy cap
  9. am sure its a toyo sports frontmount its pretty thick, so would you guys recommend just the ramstyle one or external? I did have a hks actuator but I was getting loads of lagg when it was set to 0.8 with the relocation filter but I sold it, I think external would overcome this... cheers guys

When this was happening to mine a had to buy a new battery, see if it starts up smoother with some jump leads or you can buy some copper brush on stuff for your battery terminals which get a better spark, check your spark plugs, best to run lower grades in the winter, may not be any of these things just my experience
  11. jjust wondering what to get if anyone would like to share opinions, I want to go external wastegate, what would be a good set up for 200bhp, I have a SARD ecu with RSR system/decat/ gizzmo EBC running 1 bar of boostfold on the standard ported mani, if its possible to get near that goal of 200bhp without changing the turbo I would be happy with that. Would rather not go for the tdo4 as I would need a EMB, I wana try n stick with some rare /origional parts. Hope everyone has a good crimbo
  12. How much has anybody got from their stock mani? I only would like to stick around 180-200 so is it safe to stick do you's think? I know there's better manifolds but am not too bothered about power chasing, may upgrade to CT9 hybrid I just want to know if anybodys done this etc, cheers

  17. I reckon it must be boostcreep,am gunna turn the actuator right down, it is freezing up in the north here,see what happens then

I have a problem I have just fitted a hks actuator and I am boosting 1 bar/justover.I have adjusted the arm to just under 0.8 bar, everything is working fine but if I floor it in second my boost gauge and ebc want to go well overboost, and i only manage to get up to 4000 revs or so, my standard actuator works better but nothing is broken or leaking av made sure of that. I have turned the boost down to nothing on the ebc. The boost is arriving way too fast so I can't move up the revs basically, anyone got any opinions? I have all the fueling mods aswell plug n play etc thanks

  20. whats your boost doing? you have a ebc or gauge? I reckon its a pipe not secure or even the inlet gasket possibly
  21. not much, I have a half a cupfullish oil to much in my engine but I don't think thats it, but I hope the turbo seals aint going, any help please, all seems to be running great besides this, PCV valve has been changed no signs of coloured smoke either. Thanks

  25. thanks, will the new panhard rod have to be the same size as the old one or will I have to make it longer as the wheels may stay crabbed if I keep it the same size?
