I can see what everyone's trying to say guess there's only one way to find out! It does seem a bit weaker higher end, I just don't get it when people buy them and put them to 0.8 when the standard one boosts 0.6 etc, just seems alot of cash for a stiffer spring

i currenty run 1 bar boost through my ebc, got a decat aftermarket ecu, full system,ported manifold, i want to know if anyone has done dyno test with actuators and what difference they all make, power wise? My mate had these same mods without the aftermarket ecu and made 170bhp.I know what the actuators do, but is £60 worth 4 bhp........

take the rust of try with a bit rough sand paper and paint the bottom of it with oil i wouldn't risk undersealing it, the oil will stop it rusting.

i see, am pretty much running down the same path you are, av got a gizzmo boost controller, awaiting my plug and play its just my mate said i would be wasting money as the actuator won't make much difference, i dunno

wouldn't bother with the sump mate, av just done all mine just get the things that can't be replaced!

is there much difference when you swapped with the actuator? Its the only thing left on my list, £50 for a stiffer spring......

On my ecu i have a superchips fuel cut defender, has been on the car ever since, never hit fuelcut or had any problems over two years!! Never ran a fuel pressure regulator for this time and still runs great. Anyways i am looking to sell the ecu with the FCD attatched, anybody know how much these would be worth? I have never seen a FCD like it. Reason for selling, just bought a SARD ecu, if anyone is interested send me your email address and i can send sum pics some timenext week etc or as soon as my SARDS up and running, thanks.
