booked my wheels in at the body shop, and going to collect my wheels to take them to the body shop later.

haha, im not getting my hopes up at all now because everything was planned out sweet and nothings gone to plan! :rtfm:

its ok mate got them booked in at the bodyshop tomoz and will have them back by tuesday(but i aint holding out any hope as nothings going to plan! ) body parts il be picking up wed night hopefully so will have to get it all on thurs n fri night and clean and polish it, so i will know by wed if im coming or not.

i was in blackpool on friday and passed some1 in a black gt and waved.

dont think im guna make japfest lads dont think wheels wil b ready in time and nt sure on my body pannels either.so its a lng journy wen i hate the way the cars looks at the mo!

well what an epic fail this last minute wheels refurb is turning out to be. 1st the guy didnt have the right colour in stock, so couldnt do them in time. so told him to do them black. 2nd after promising me id have them back this friday he says hes now to busy, so told him he can have them til nxt thur because i need them back friday to put tyres on. 3rd he then rings me this afternoon to tell me hes to busy next week so i wont have them back in time. so told him very politly (honest) that hes a fuckin dick and bring my wheels back. so now been ringing round trying to find another company

i realy dont know mate, its a realy clean example but prices are all abit strange at the mo, some seem to make good money and then some dont thats what put me off trying to put a price on mine a few weeks ago. the only other thing i can suggest is selling the uprated parts off it and trading it in as a standard gt, but that means trading it in again.

haha, yea its defo looking different at the mo! well ive got it back from iddy but its getting a fresh lick of paint along with a few other bits before japfest.

youl get more selling it privatly than trading it in, it is easier to trade it in against a car you like tho but narrows your search to garages realy and no private sales where alot of the gems are.

you dont use the gt as your daily driver do u? why not stick it up for sale?

the best one about i think at the mo, its subtle but still in your face if you get what i mean!

well got a call from the powder coater today, i wanted my wheels coated the same colour but he doesnt have the colour in stock and neither does his stockist till nxt wed so wouldnt have them back for japfest, and dont fancy coming down with my "ace" new wheels sooooooooo told him to do them a gun metal grey or just black for now and il get them done again the original colour in a few months but hes done them for cheaper this time so not to bad!

have a look on iamlegend's build thread, hes got a stick on number plate on his.

yea found that website a few month ago and nothings changed since then!

well they were just bubling but i started picking it all off today:lol: 1 of the wheels rim was butchered about 6month ago when i got new tyres put on, theres no kirb marks on them just the paints flaking off, but its doesnt matter as they will be fresh as on friday. just getting them done in the same colour again.

hahaha, i give up the ssr's have gone to be sand blasted and powder coated! get them back friday so they will be perfect for japfest! few pics of the dodgy spots the winter wernt kind to them! one thing i did notice tho was a sticker thats normally hidden by the tyre saying manufactured by SSF? also sprayed the spacers up.
