finger crossed it is the gasket but it could be the oil feed pipe has cracked, haopend to me 3 times!

hi guys, the situation is all sorted. ive been in contact with jham and starbuck and explained the situation and refunded the postage costs as my postage conditions wernt met on my side. sorry for the hassle this has caused to anyone, not been on for 2weeks ands theres over 5000 new posts! and dont worry nazzurro i havent crashed!

glad you sorted it mate! i had the exact same thing like you but about jap import number plates and i proved them wrong, felt awsome!

it will be a bit tight but dont go smashing anything!! just TAP the rocker with a hammer to break the seal.

no just pull the ht leads out.

undo the 5 bolts, unclip the breather pipe, pull the rocker cover off. take the old gasket out, put the new on and bolt it back on, simples!

its my cambelt side thats looking very oily!

cam belt was changed about 6month ago when my water pump shat its self! gota love these cars, they always keep you busy!

this sucks mate, glad im old(er) but to be honest im still not looking forward to my renewal quote.

and you get 20 nuts so youve always got 4 spare just incase, mine are still in the box. and on another note i always put a little bit of rag in the socket before i undo or tighten the nuts to stop it from damaging the nuts and mine have not got any marks or scratches on them! just a little bit of car keeps them looking fresh!

ive got the d1 spec nuts and never had any problems with them, theyve been on and off more time than ive had hot dinners. but i always put some copper slip on them when i put them on to stop them from seazing on, imo aslong as you do this then they are fine.

were them wings off ebay? i kept looking at them and having to talk myself out of buying them as the money needs to be spent else where!
