  1. but it looks cool and i can tell people its nos plus it fits in the dash cowel really really well lol
  2. today i sorted the problem out about the sandwich plate the answer = get a 3/8unf from a scooby as there longer lol cost me £5 instead of £30 for a plate - made me happy until well alot of progress was made as was 2 big mistakes which made me cry first was this defi oil temp sensor brokey (£90 to replace) then the second problem , the downpipe from WepR is 2 inches too short , offset and the flanges are around 90 degrees off eachother so even if it was long enough it wouldnt line up , i think hes sent me the downpipe to his own exhaust , even though he told me it would fit any aftermarket exhaust ,so if he doesnt sort this the cars off the road for a month well on for the build anyway so today we was planning on rotating the turbo and getting everything bolted up etc , ready for 2moz to wire everything up and vrooom id be td04 well tried rotating the turbo *ping* circlip snaps , so off to halfrauds and oick up a pair for £9.99 too small , then off to machine mart cheapest pair to fit £31.99 pfft no way so off back to the car , get a grinder and mince the broken pair , eventually we got the exhaust housing off and the pins etc removed , only took 100 hits with a rubber hammer lol so then we put it all back together and spun the blades " sheite not moving" so had to pull it all apart again n make sure it went on 100% straight , got it all sorted in the end and i was a happy man so then we spent hours bolting all the manifold on , the downpipe, all the oil lines the return , etc the wastegate screamer and everything was going well til we noticed the exhaust wasnt going to fit ( at this point my heart sank and deep inside i was crying ... lol ) so then we decided to do as much as we can with the bolt on parts ;) tomorrows plan to have everything wired in and ready , wrap the exhaust and then wait for a downpipe to fit , its either sacha sends me one as its his mistake or he gives me a refund so i can take it to get custom made also has anyone else had probles with wepr kits , due to the kit being offset and the sandwich plate my airfilter and oil filter now touch , i just hope it wont get hot enough to burn the silicone also anyone with a GIZZMO MS-IBC how do you wire the button in on the instructions it says red to 12v blue to trigger ? WTF? and black to earth , so does that literally mean blue wire to one terminal on the switch and thats it ? well anyway pics of everything from today the short pipe which is pretty short turbo rotated and ready for fitting how the bay currently looks spares for sale lol screamer Yo mushroom filter slight bodge of an oil return oil filter , mashing up my air filter one of everything in the bay so far and lastly the touched up bumper im happy so far bar the sensor and the fucking downpipe <--- but somethings always gotta go wrong but i totally can see why sparky felt like braking his car , keep an eye out for a gauging thread if this dont get any better soon

  11. right so again 2night went to my mates to start on the car , first of all removed the FMIC just to give us more space then we angle grinded the bottom rad brackets off to fit the new civic rad then we decided to fit the sandwich plate (which would later kill the night) so we started to grind away at the PAS bracket, eventually got it grinded down enough , measure up with the plate all fitted fine n dandy , then dipped the rubber ring in old oil to make a seal and what happens .....? now the rubber has made it like 3mm to thick so the 3/4unf now doesnt fit !! like seriously WTF !! so basically tonight was wasted on trying to get the sandwich plate to fit now tomorow means going to buy a new one whats a waste of a night and money so now car aint guna be done by tomoz and ill be lucky if its done by sunday oh and also decided to sort out the horrible tacky yellow , primer all over my front bumper,so shud make the car look ok in pics lol
  12. heres the style ive got and the big bit of rubber just will not fit on with the plate, it sits in the plate ok but then makes it like 3 mm thicker so now the bolt aint long enough do i need this style 2 lil o rings ? or will this still gimme the same problem

  14. right tonight im an angry mofo took off my pas bracket grinded it down, sandwich plate fitted flush (without the rubber ring) so thought lovely stuff put on the rubber ring and it wont fit for shizz , i tried taking a lil of the rubber off, i tried heating it up to make it softer , ive pushed really hard and tried to do up the 3/4 unf nothin it just wont tighten so i took it all off and just tried to screw on the 3/4 unf fits fine tried it agai with the plate fits fine, tried with rubber ring again nothing ive wasted 3 hours 2night and got naff all work done cause of this wtf! it feels like i need a longer 3/4unf do these exist , if not what do i do !!! argh shitty cars
