take em off , take out all bulbs wires etc and put em in a fairly hot bucket of water and take the amber bit off , its like glue just pulls apart but imo is hideous !! also dont forget to buy amber indicator bulbs if your guna go detango yo!"

ok now i need some opinions today i took off the wheel and noticed that the disc was wobbling all over so i thought hmm maybe the wheel nut had come loose which it had so i tightened it by hand like advised etc and i thought HELL YEAH !! easy fix turned the wheel !! NOPE no fix lol so then i took off the caliper and noticed the sliders were infact as thought stiff as , so i sprayed on some lube/degreaser hit it a couple of times with a hammer and it fell straight out , so i cleaned em both up (bigger/smaller one) and sprayed it up and slid it back in put the caliper back on and to no avail still rubbing so surly it has to be the piston? and if so my new plan is to buy a caliper rewind tool and screw it back on would this fix it now the sliders are free or would this only prolong this happening again ? cheers guys

yup agree , ill have so many mods the car will be broke n split etc who cares about mileage im on 200k + and id say half of it is miles my car still pulls like the coletrain lol i see my car as an investment i put loads of money into it and then ill get most of my money back when i split it so really im just sticking some money into (alot of fun) a savers acoount lol

ok ill get a pic in a minute so if i take the caliper off and sliders wont move, if i get em freely moving the i should be ok no new caliper if i take off the caliper and the sliders are already free moving then its the piston and ill need a new caliper is that correct?

well ill take it off try to get it working atleast til i get more money haha

year rears are the same 2 sliders etc , maybe i should take off my rear caliper and try the sliders if they are stuck will this be the solution or could the piston be seized too?

cause i dont know how to is it hard? it looks fiddly lol and i only have til sunday to get car working i hate these calipers constsntly seize lol how did he free yours up?

right basically my drivers side rear caliper i presume the piston isnt retracting so it has basically pushed my brake pads to death and then has scratched the rear disc , it has around 5/6 lines all the way around the disc , not very deep just a little scratch , as soon as i heard the car scraping ive stopped driving it , i dont really fancy buying new discs as there expensive and these ones arnt very old. my plan was to buy another yes ANOTHER (third now) caliper and some new pads and just use them , will this be ok ? or am i guna have to spend out again ! my poor td04 is never guna get done at this rate

i now need rear pads and probably discs ! sooo not impressed you got a link to fensport n there stuff buddy ?

my cousin does this its well expensive what hes got spent well into a grand , you should get a fire gobi they look cool , also be careful when buying rocks etc as sometimes they carry crabs and will hatch through the night etc and eat ya fish

cheers guys now all thats needed is to wrap it all up ;) buy all the oils,coolants etc for a major service and rad gauges fitting buy a td04 and lines buy an ecu and a map fit everything n have a big old smile then buy an orgura clutch kit , lsd box and some nicer interior Nd car will be complete lol

ahh haha was it much extra ktl? i likes the look of this one and i wanted the top facing wastegate too i dont like the kita where they run down by ya box id be worried it would bottom out or something lol i just want july/august to hurry up so i can get this car running some better POwAH!!

well i was planning on cutin it down if it was to foul other items ive got a civic rad so i may have the same problem? i aint fitin til august ish time so stil plenty of time to fit etc lol

i got my td04 kit through today and sacah gave me a wad of free gaskets and i was just wondering if these are genuine and ok to use or ditch em and get real genuine ones cheers guys ;)
