Cheers Matt, defo a top investment, the hdi only has lo an hi settings, not bothered with low just set up the high @ 1 bar Cant think why you would need more than two settings!!!!!! that some of the more expensive units have on???

Well stripped an put it all back together an yes Edd it's easier with the aftermarket parts surprised myself on that one, helped seeing someone do it the first time!!!! Plumbed in the HDI Boost Controller, boosting back @1bar, the controller makes a differance on when the boost comes in an helps hold boost @ the level required with no creep Couln't resist taking a pic just before i completed, still fluid to put in an fmic pipinng to complete HDI Solenoid Fitted controller in footwell using adesive pads as did not fanccy putting holes in the interior Really pleased with it

Feeling it for you, just how i felt when i thought the mani had let go, agree with the rebuilding the motor though unless you are going to rebuild all the motor just doing one area puts stress on other worn areas so doing the bottom end will but stress on the top end an vice a versa, just when you seemd sorted gutted for you.

Went out last night for a blast an the car didn't feel right an sound off so pulled it to bits this afternoon, at least its only the gasket!!!! an not the mani, moral of this is use genuine gaskets!!!!

My thoughts exactly mate thats why i was not concerned when it only had 2 settings , you going to the Sheffield meet, looks like it should be a good turn out, if not what about Manchester on the Sunday the 4th?? -

Was thinking about running .8 and 1.1 , do i just run the pipe from the turbo to solinoed and then onto the actuator, instead of turbo to acuator as it is at present?? daft question i know just dont want to make a mess. -
Right at present my HKS actuator is set to run at.8 - .9 and runs direct from the turbo, i have purcahsed a electronic boost controller to run it @ 1 bar do i need to alter the actuator?? Or do i just plumb in the boost controller and set the pressure that i need it to run at?? Rest of set up Blitz Access ecu FMIC HKS Actuator De Cat an Mani Relocated Filter Thanks John
