  1. I have started my glanza gauges swap but forgot to note down which wires were for what. Could someone please post a pic of the original positions of the pins? Or point me towards a guide with the wire colours. Someone please help, i cant use my car without the gauges working.
  2. I got the gauges today and tried to fit them but lost track of which pins were from where The gauges came with the plugs from the glanza so im labeling the wires. I have an electrician coming tomorrow to see if we can figure out which wires are for what component.
  3. At first when i fitted mine, it didnt seem very different, the only thing i noticed at first was that it didn't understeer as much Later on i noticed was that i was taking corners alot faster. There is a corner near my place that i used to only be able to 80k's around without the front sliding, now with the rear arb it comfortable at 100-110k's.
  4. Can you use commas or capital letters?
  5. My phone does the same thing. Its a touch screen Samsung. I got around it buy clicking the "Toggle HTML Source"(one next to insert special item) button and coding the message from there. I think i have managed to start new topics from my phone. Only thing is you will need some basic html coding knowledge. Good luck hope it works
  6. Just stand around and act like your tuning the cars
  7. Just leave a message on her answering machine of your car revving
  8. White tape will have to do. Im 99% sure they will only require the usual pin swap. It'd be hilarious if i could hook up the boost lights to come on depending on the revs.
  9. As they are sending the auto plugs i'll be able to see if the wires are any different. They have been paid for and are in the post so should be here in a few days. Will i just have to cover up the auto gear display with some white tape or can they be removed?
  10. Sounds good, ill probably do that as well in the future, seeing as this is my daily driver and i cant afford to keep it off the road for long. Have you put yours down the 1/4 mile?
  11. Sweet as man. I only got forza 3 last week and am needing some decent tunes for some cars. I tried making a vw rabbit to the same spec as a glanza, it didnt seem too bad just looked like a kp60
  12. Sorry just meant how hard was it to add the turbo
  13. ARRRGGGGHHH dialup sucks . I want to have a go at this. Can someone please either post here or pm me the car setup? e.g upgrades and tune
  14. Thanks Pierros Ill try to find an acis manifold before i do the swap, i think ill just stay with the fhe 4-2-1 exhaust manifold as i dont think there are any suppliers in New Zealand who can get me anything aftermarket. Im currently running a fhe exhaust mani on my 4efe so i hope the guy didnt change anything on it. Otherwise i can just use the one that is coming on the engine. How hard was it to +t your motor?
  15. Yeah just the shell. shown in last picture
  16. ohh my god!! http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-mini-chas...dy-p-31196.html
  17. Haha i forgot about this. After my engine swap i may look into doing this onto the 5efhe
  18. Im going to use the all 5e parts to get it running. Then probably get those upgrades. I put in an order for an engine yesterday, its got 180,000k's on it but runs perfectly. Its non-acis but i will be getting an acis intake at some point as the 5e loom is for an acis model. If all goes well i should have all the parts ready for the swap by the end of february.
  19. I have found some Auto glanza v dials and want to fit them into my n/a. Is the wiring any different to manual dials? They are able to send me the plugs as well so i can check which wires go where.
  20. That turbo is awesome Just modify a small exhaust housing onto it, it should work. Or put a pulley on the exhaust side and make a huge supercharger
  21. This looks like fun but i dont have xbox live or fast internet. Could someone please put up the setup and track so i can have a go offline?
  22. This year was awesome. I discovered the joy of modifying starlets and have learned a hell of alot of stuff about how cars work. I graduated from college and managed to get a 2nd job. I gave drag racing a go and am now hooked and im looking forward to going those few seconds faster. Thanks UKSC for the great year and am looking forward to what this year will hold for me. Cheers, Daniel
  23. I think i did that, but i went for a trip to the dairy and back before i turned off the car.
  24. I think i saw something like that at some point. Could it be a doco? The only thing i can find is a thing called The Business of Crime : Secrets of the Car Thieves. There is a small pic HERE which may jog your memory. I cant find a video of it as im on dialup and youtube isn't liking me. Aarrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh why do i have to have work when this is on? That must have been hilarious
  25. I did that and it didnt take much more even with the temp gauge sitting on 1/2 way. I filled the reserve tank to the full point and went for a spirited drive and it still barely took any out.
