I think the gate latch on the ground must have hit an air line for the air suspension. If you look carefully the front wheels retract quite fast.

Im looking at getting a c52 soon to replace my current gearbox(c140 4spd) Does anyone have a guide on how to remove and refit the gearbox? Also which oil should I use with an open diff gearbox?

I have the same thing happen (sort of). Every now and again when im heading to work some old guy is outside his house and is going . Im just sitting in the car going wtf??? I was only doing the speed limit (80k's) and was in top gear so dont know what his problem is.

Its not the top mounts. This was happening on my last spring and shock setup as well. I swapped the whole strut setup from an ep82 and the noise was still coming from the passengers side. Just to be sure i even swapped the suspension from one side to the other and the noise kept on the same side.

so ~6psi? That might be a bit much for what im wanting to try

Was talking to a friend over here who has owned a few starlets and thinks it might be a panhard rod bush. I still cant pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from as my exhaust is now hitting my swaybar U bolt

Whats the lowest setting these can be set to? Im wanting to try something on my n/a but only want < 2psi opening pressure for the wastegate on a ct9b.

I thought that the fte had a lower comp ratio so using the internals would have a negative effect. Also the 4efte head is identical to the 4efe head apart from slightly stiffer valve springs.

Today I drove it to and from the movies. On way home it started missing under load so i thought water had got into the spark hole. Removed 3rd plug lead and the clip stayed attached to the plug. Now I need to get some new plug leads

Forgot to update this. I received the engine in January and its been sitting at my dads work even since. I recently gave it a decent service with new cambelt, idler, tensioner, front and rear crank seals, cam & rocker cover seal also did the water pump. Im thinking whether to get the engine put in with my current gearbox(c140 4spd) or wait a few more weeks and get a c52 at the same time as install which is still about a month away.

Had a heap of fun at a track day today. Managed to go through a set of brake pads and have the car drifting (technically) corners 3 and 4 on my last lap (wasnt caught on video) The car is a bit underpowered compared to the rest of the field but i was gaining on quite a few of them in the corners. Was hitting ~160Km/h at the end of the back straight. For those who dont know the track

Only just got broadband connected so havent got any chat programs yet. Theres a big(ish) lan event here called xlan which im thinking of attending, there will supposedly be over 600 people attending the 3 day event.
