  1. Hey that was at the Ground level hardpark aye. So bummed i missed that one
  2. Wow, thats quite a few results, shows what sort of power people are going for before forging their engines yay im leading the E series n/a's
  3. I'm going to be getting a proper tune put on her in the near future to see what i can get out of her, either that or just do what everyone else is doing and just slap a td04 setup on to her
  4. Got the new engine dyno'd today. Made 65.3kw(87.5hp)@6750rpm at the wheels. Im happy with that figure since its only got a basic tune on it with not much timing. Got the 4e's run overlayed onto the printout as well for comparison. The runs aren't over the same speed range since the new gearbox has slightly shorter ratios so ignore the 8000rpm limit on the 4e [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWmcaIhoFhU Now to take her to the drags and see what she'll do
  5. Guards would probably have to be pushed out by 1.5" to fit them. Would almost need custom wide body parts
  6. Might as well add my wheels SSA Rush (CE28N replicas) OG Axis Oldskool (Work Equip 03 replicas)
  7. Maybe driving it a bit harder because of the increase in power? Perhaps try resetting the ecu and see if it improves
  8. ^Kill it! Kill it with fire. Who in their right mind did that to a starlet, it's hideous
  9. I dont really like the the idea of bags since I use the car on track and would prefer the adjustment settings on coilovers. Also have no money at the moment so coilovers will be the best option.
  10. I think steering might be an issue... but hey who needs to turn corners?
  11. Did a quick photoshop to see what my car would look like slammed. Dont think its possible to go this low but i think i could get close with coilovers.
  12. I'm hoping to keep the throttles pointing upwards so I can make an airbox that will be fed by the bonnet scoop. If they collapse i'll have to get some metal 90° runners put on, could probably scavenge some from the tubular mani I had to butcher to get the flange.
  13. Have you got pics of this setup? Are the throttles a circle or oval at the top? This is my setup im about to try on my 5e-fhe. The throttles are off a zx-6r. Just unsure if the silicone joiners will try to collapse.
  14. Just gave it a quick go, ignore the missed pixels around the lip of the rim. Im kinda liking purple
  15. I was running 15x6.5 ET38 with 195/50's before my current wheels and only had them rub on full lock on the chassis rails. Rears were perfectly fine even with 4 people in the back. Was lowered 60mm on really soft springs with the standard panhard rod Currently running 15x8 ET25 with 195/45 and the rears are only just touching the guard lips with weight in the back
  16. I wouldnt be sure without seeing the pinouts of both ecu's. It might just be a case of swapping which pins a few wires go to or a complete re-wire. If you could get me the part numbers of your 4e and 5e ecu's i might be able to have a look into it for you. Also good luck with the swap man, its well worth the effort.
  17. The loom has to be changed, Im not sure which bits off each loom you'd need to use as im running a link ecu not the 5e one. Which version 5efhe do you have? the acis intake one or the one with the standard intake?
  18. If its the standard 4e manifold it'll be a piece of piss to get out. Ive got the 5efhe acis manifold on mine and it was a complete bitch to get in and access all the bolts
  19. I'm trying to avoid my parents as they went ballistic when I bought new wheels.
  20. Wow, some very good entries this month, going to be really hard to choose.
  21. Is there a release button on it or something? Sometimes with combo locks if you hold the button down and spin a tumbler it'll lock into place on the right number.
  22. I'm not sure, mine was welded to the stock system.
  23. I had the 5efhe exhaust manifold on my 4efe. I compared the before and after dyno runs and it looked like it increased mid range power and a little in the top end. It seemed easier to cruise at 100 k's as well
