See that boost creep causing the fuel cut is what i think might be wrong with ma pals skyline weev been stumped by whats causing it for ages when you put it under load from low revs in a high gear as it comes up throught the revs and starts to boost it just thumps like your hittin a limiter n someone has hit the brakes. It caused him to blow a turbo and blew the turbine right down the exhaust pipe lol. Hes running a straight through HKS exhaust and a trust intake. With a standard ECU. I bet thats what it is thats causing it. Tell him to get an adjustable actuator and an ECU shud sort it then. On the topic of my car ill be startin to by the parts in the next couple of months hopefully so ill run the part by you before i make any decisions. Another question see if im sticking on a de-cat i assume with that the lambda sensor will throw on the engine management light?

Shaun see if your getting boost creep when your accelerating with the engine under load the fuel cut on the ECU wud kick in and seem like your hitting a limiter wouldnt it?

I probably would be interested pal but not right now as i need to pay my insurance this month and im waiting on money owed to me from my work when i get that i will be starting on the car. 1 Thing i notice though this 1 doesnt look like it can be braced or mounted anywhere surely that puts strain on the turbo.

I work in edinburgh mate. Ive seen a red glanza near livingston and a black gt near south gyle. Other than that i dno im sure i seen a spotted thread on tgtt with a few boys from edinburgh talking but i cudnt garuntee it lol

Its hard to say with this mate as you have completely different codes. They al point to the ecu but its strange that the light goes off as normally when codes are stored it would stay on constantly. Whats the spec of the engine? any mods that could be causing this it could be the smallest of things throwing it all off. Me id check your air intake and intake manifold for cracks or damaged wires going to any sensors in it.Have a look at your dizzy and all your ignition under the bonnet. IMO id favour a loose connection or faulty sensor on there somewhere.

Aye well there no bad now u can get 1 for bout 8k and u do get alot of stuff for your money its comfy and does feel good quality there just not designed to go round crners thats their only fault i guess and the economy lol. Jus wished id saved money and bought her a starlet instead haha dno what she wudda said to that one though.

Aye mate av got a blue vxr and its just a fuckin drag. It looks the beans and goes queality in a straight line but habdling is pish breaks squeek like fuck and it gets about 22mpg on a good day. Cost me a fortune. Ill be having somthing very tidy in the future though soon as i can afford to get rid of it.

Its just a complete monster paul can vouch for it ;) needs a bit of work but has the potential. You should get your pals n bounce up 1 weekend. Aye see mines is already smooth as fuck because its fresh paint. I just use the polish and makes it that greasy way so the rain beads and when its dirty jus pressure washes off but shud a be waxin it after polishin it or wit wits the script lol? Is it actually ayr your from or wit?

See thats obv wit am needin ill jus start stealin ma burds camera.Whats the script with this clay bar and all that? I just use a wee shitey 12v halfords polisher and a tub of MER lol comes up relatively well but i guess thats down to the fresh paint whats gna get me best results?

Shit!!! so it is lol it looks quality in tht wee picture its like a big black grill id spray it that way if i was you haha. Looks wise mines will be staying much as it is with maybe a cheeky livepsorts spoiler because i think the look the dogs danglies and maybe a black set of wheels but thats about it.

Awryt nice 1 aye i dont noramlly check the new members bit on here as its normall packin have about 5 a day so i never notice. Aye its better on here for buying selling and the patter n tht theres no a scottish bit on there so thats how a stick ti here. Its better on TGTT for tech data n stuff and if you have any problems with your cars the guys on there are pretty clued up. Pretty sure thats for engine management bud not abs i could stand corrected though. Also dont think it would specify what sensor was broke either again i could stand corrected. Best way as i said get urself a jack and a multimeter n get your hands dirty ;)

You living in japan bud? Make sure to bring plenty JDM goodness over with you lol.

If you can get your hands on one obviously this is the best option. If not you will have to start by testing your sensors manually.

Aye use them on the abs sensor side of the wires and spin the wheels abs sensors work on a magnetic field so as they spin create their own current. So no current means their no working. Change over the faulty 1 if you cant get to diagnostics to reset it then jus drive it for haf an hour abs is self checking so should reset after a while anyway.

Right well ill have a go at it. Will be in a month or 2 anyway need to wait on money coming through that my work owes me so thats what will be paying for it. I've no got a clue about any of this stuff I can fit it all i just dont know what I need to do it lol. Ill give you a shout nearer the time when im going to start buying the parts. Whats wrong with those manifolds do they crack too easily? I prob would have bought toyota gaskets anyway but cheers for the heads up. Another thing see with a de-cat its gna make it loud as fk isnt it? Whats the script with those road side emissions tests if you have a de-cat aswell?

Sensors are in the hubs theres a thick black wire comes out and will go up behind the arch liners follow it up and unplug it use a multimeter on the 2 pins and spin the wheel if you get a reading then they are working do this to all 4 to check the sensors.

Yep will be a sensor 1 of mine went last year. Get yourself a multimeter and test them. Buy 1 from some one who is breaking they are expensive me in my infinate knowledge got it from toyota cost me about 125 wont be making tht mistake again.
