  1. I've had my gearbox off twice in the last month mate I can assure you you wont need more then 2Ltr
  2. You might well be correct. I had been told in the past 82's wouldnt fit my 91 without modding but that could have been false info in the 1st place.
  3. I dont believe so I think modding is required for both but I cant garuntee that.
  4. I dont know exact box codes. Is it possibly LSD? I know the manual box non LSD is 1.7/1.8ltr.
  5. In a manual gearbox? You sure it wasnt leaking out lol.
  6. ^^ Exactly their is no shame in using credit. It's actually funny some of the people who have commented patronising people and talking down to them because of it. Also If you have a car on finance you 100% own the car I think you are confused with hire purchase. Whether you use credit or dont that is no one elses business as long as you have ways and means of affording it.
  7. Ano mate thats sort of my last resort. Would rather get the proper part. Ive tried everything and its just not a perfect fit and would niggle in the back of my mind. Ive spoken to an HKS dealer and he is going to contact them and try and get me one with the pin. Jus thought someone would have one lying around.
  8. Bump someone must have one lying around when they have fitted theirs and not needed it.
  9. Sorry bud well the 75w-90 is what you need.
  10. I used to use Vredestein sportrac 3's in that size on another car and they were cheaper but my work was supplier they might be more expensive to the public. In fairness its very similar tyre but if anything the vredestein was a better tyre.
  11. Egay? Couple of used ones. Worst case scenario. You wil get them for peanuts.
  12. Enjoy mate hope you get an sr sorted
  13. I didnt even think about it being an automongo. If thats the case youll need ATF
  14. At the end of the day most people are going to need finance in their life at some point. Not many people can afford to go out and buy a new car from a garage and pay cash nearly everyone has their car on finance if its relatively new. It's not like you can just go out and get a bentley if you feel like it you still have to pay the finance its not cheap. Fair doos if they are rolling around in cars for 3-6 months at a time posing then aye chances are they couldnt afford it. If they keep it for a while then clearly they can. You cant patronise people with work harder. Not everone can work fu
  15. Allans mrs has got a Glanza S am sure shes a member on here.
  16. Lol no I wouldnt think so. A wine cork with some duct tape could prove a good solution if you can find one well sized. You just need to make sure that whatever you use cant get sucked in.
  17. Do you see the thin blue pipe running over the top of the engine? If you follow that You will see it goes on to a metal nipple on the inlet mani. If you have no Dump Valve or Boost gauge then that must be blocked off. You can run your boost gauge straight off that or as I've done you can have a t-piece on the pipe and run boost gauge and dump valve from it.
  18. The pipe you are blocking off would be where your dump valve would go. The other would be a small vac pipe on the inlet mani that would go to the top of your dump valve to operate it. Ill try and find you a pic. Do you have a boost gauge fitted?
  19. I will make a slightly similar noise on full boost. Not as loud. And it will flutter slightly at low boost. Make sure you blocked off the vac pipe to the mani?
  20. I just went to halfords got stuff for £9 a litre. Would be even cheaper from a local motor factors. Opie oils have just posted on the forum they are doing free delivery to UK mainland aswell if you don't mind waiting.
  21. Aye mate certainly is. Quite pricey tho??
  22. Yep 75w-90 2 ltrs of. Wont even take tht.
