what gearbox oil should i use?

i duuno then mate. my car smokes a lot as well a white smoke with a blue tint to it. my mechanic reckons its more likely to be turbo seals than anything else, but also mentioned valve stem seals. spose youi could check the turbo by taking off some intercooler piping and see if its full of shit?

headgasket if its overheated badly mate. could have warped the head so that would also need a skim to make sure its flat again

its the stat. if you cant get one for a couple of days cover half your radiator with a bit of cardboard to stop it cooling so well. stat takes about ten mins to change and i think mine was 13 quid from local motor factors. camskill do them for £9

ive found a brand new emanage blue at a real good price. it includes~ 1. Greddy E-manage unit of it self 2. Univarsal harness inclued and plugs as well 3. E-manage blue support tool +CD 4. Connector/E-manage accesories what else would i need to connect it into my ep91 and how much would it cost for parts? cheers matt

same one as mine. looks easier to fit than td04l in all fairness, just how close itll be to the oil filter thats bothering me

ok cheers, is it better to get one of them , or an after market lsd from cusco or similar? need a new box so obv dont wanna be changing time and time again, just the price is a bit more than i have atm anyone recomend a clutch thats good for 240bhp atf roulghy? one thats not going to break the bank?

yeah its the box from the r5 conversion. spoke to him today. anyone know roughly what a oem lds box would be worth? fully working order?

hi lads, im looking for a new gear box atm, looked at a few pictures and it looks like the king lead comes from the dizzy to the gearbox? on mine it goes from the dizzy to the firewall inbetween the diagnostics plug and the inlet mani? whats going on there?

hi, does anyone know where i can get a .7 bar spring for my turbosmart ultragate 38 (38mm external wastegate) ive got a 1bar spring atm but want a .7 or .6 if thats possible, any help really appreciated, cheers matt

sorry if this is a re post. my mates just put me on to it. seems fairly accurate tbh, maybe someone that knows there exact weight and bhp at fly can confirm?

the point i was getting at was there is more lag on a bigger turbo than a smaller one. eg, in a non race / drag situation like on a motorway for instance you wanna accelerate quickly youd have to knock down a gear on a td04 if you werent ready on boost, on ct9 waiting for the boost to come in is bearable at least

right so when everyone goes on about making 180 odd brake its at the fly? i got dynod 4 months ago and was at 137bhp at wheels on standard boost, fmic and re located filter, de cat and full stainless

i know its not about the numbers but its nice to have a rough idea what its gonna be ;) i seriously cant afford any management yet. im scraping the pennys out my jar to be able to afford the kit ive just bought. need a new job big time lol
