Either the knock sensor has failed which is the plug on the back of the engine, or the wiring has failed. You need to test the continuity with a multimeter on the plug end to the ECU plug wire for the knock sensor, if thats ok then replace the knock sensor. It will run rough as a bag of spanners until you fix above as the car is running in a safety mode.

Sold to LEE!! thank you its currently got a TD04 map on it at 1.3bar, so you can wire it in and drive off boost to your tuner. Get them to map it properly then. There are about 8 wires to wire into the ECU loom by the plugs, shouldnt take much more than 45 mins to solder in. -
I wouldnt send them, end of! Whats the worst that can happen, you get 1 negative feedback, woopiee doo! doesnt mean you have to give them away for nothing, just tell the guy who won them that they are no longer available.
