  1. Payday in a few days, who is gonna make the jump and go 5E power!!
  2. heh, yes its a Limited Slip Diff for the gearbox, the Quaife doesnt require any type of gearbox oil as its a geared diff with no clutch plates. Just stick in your normal gearbox oil will be fine, it makes no difference.
  3. Item For Sale: Knock Sensor Item Condition & Description: Bought a spare but didn't end up using it Used but good condition Price: £35 Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: Paypal +4% fees, 1st class post.
  4. looking at the power graphs on the leaderboard a TD06 is a pile of wank, it doesnt even get going until 5500RPM!! and thats on a 5e on a 4e i dont even think it would be usable, on paper it looks impressive because you do get peak power for about 1000 of usable RPM, but are you really going to drive your car everywhere doing 6000RPM just to get on boost lol
  5. oil pump seal or crank seal,or sump.
  6. Taggy

    4efte engine

I have also got a forged 5e in the for sale section
  7. Nah no problem Your right forged 5e rarely come up, I am just hoping someone will stump up with the money nearer payday at the end of the month
  8. It would be hell of a lot easier, but i stand to lose too much on it so its gonna be stripped.
  9. Dont worry about which way it comes in the packet, that will be irrelevant. Its just important that the oil way is on the correct side on the left, by the look of that picture though that is correct. I have however had problems with Athena gaskets not sealing the block and head properly. I took mine off and put the Toyota OEM one back on as i had oil weeping around the block. Make sure it torques down properly, oil/grease up the threads before putting the head bolts in to ensure you get a proper torque down on them, also dont forget to do it in the correct sequence
  10. yeah why did you think it wasnt on the right way?
  11. Why do you think you put it on upside down in the first place? That actually looks the correct way, see what i mean about the gold circle tab on the bottom right corner, if you put it on upside down that would be on the left.
  12. i know that but the design of the head gasket has a visiable tab poking out on the right if its the correct way around
  13. lol i made the same mistake, if its upside down when you start it, it will piss out oil (loads of it) from the bottom left corner of the block, its an easy mistake to make. The little metal circle tab if i remember right should be poking out on the bottom right side of the block by the tab.
  14. I have got interest from two people at the moment, just waiting on a decision.
  15. i have a 5e for sale in the for sale section
  16. Yeah run some checks like mike has said first to be sure, compression test should show it up or a sniff test of your coolant.
