  1. I wanted to be an engineer back in school. But I remember my school didn't really have any contacts for it or some bullshit. Either way I did media for 3 years instead as I'd been making small videos for years. I enjoyed all the work I did but it felt so restricted all the time. I knew it wasn't something I could do as a job under someone else with no creative freedom. I always wanted to do a production from start to finish. I'd consider an editing job, but I still believe its something to do better freelance, which is something I'd be able to do now if I decided to.

During and after college I've had numerous jobs. Sandwich making, delivery driver, Internet sales manager, land rover mechanic, bed salesman, landscape gardener, manager at national tyres and currently running jdm-ep with socks. But I've always learned new skills which have brought work my way such as spray painting and video work.

I'd still like to do video productions when I'm more established. Offer a start to finish video specialising with weddings and business promotion, and have a go at low budget feature films on the side.... Playing with cars will always be a passion though. Always has been, I just try to keep it more of a hobby so I always enjoy it

  2. For the sake of £30 it's well worth doing the water pump at the same time mate.

One of the bolts holding the pump on is underneather the crankshaft pulley and that will need removing before access to the pumpo can be amde. Whilst you can do this with the cam belt intact it's just easier whilst it's all off. And it's like £30. sSo why not

Not sure what you're on about mate? The water pump is on the back of the engine and is literally nothing to do with the cambelt lol.

  3. I built a toyo kit and braced it for my mk1 (mild) and had no issues with it personally other than I had to trim the flange on the manifold to miss the power steering pump bracket, and I later cut the decat and welded it back on at more of an upward angle so that it didn't bend the exhaust down lol... Anyway! I didn't break it, thought it was quite good... Sold the car to my mate and he's cracked the manifold twice. Even with the massive brace I welded in. But he does give it death I presume. I presume they only crack when they run big EGTs

  4. See this is what I thought adz but I've checked them :/ my friends going to have a look for me today but I'm thinking wiring to the Ecu has gone kaput somewhere I've read a few people have had the exact same fault and it's been a loose wire to the Ecu on one of the plugs so I'm going to check that today

It could very well be a loose wire mate! Just wiggle the wires to the ecu with ignition on and look at the dash to see if lights come on. I'm not sure which wires it could be tbh but if you look at an ecu pin out it will narrow down suspected wires.
