  1. its pretty easy to tell despite the fancy name its basicly a rubber strip sandwiched in the middle of the pully to absorb any vibration or so i understand. personally wouldnt bother with a light weight one although if you ditch pas you can get the n/a one which weighs half the weight am sure it was around 800g from memory.

  2. depends on alot of things you can do it farly basicly for prob 4k+ but its normally the little things that add up the the biggest total. personaly id do chassis mods first get the handling and braking superb then do the engine. alot of scene kids and general wankers kicking round in high powered starlets with shite like stock brakes or almost no handling mods banging on about how fast the are when realiscily in anything other than a drag race there going to get left for dead on a decent road because as stock the starlets handle poor and stock breaks are deadly

  3. ill pay on friday when i get paid. bit different i supose but ever though of doing a UKSO jacket. i love my hoodies but not always the best thing to wear a nice jacket like the nuremburg do with something like the UKSO logo stiched into the arm and the url on the back would be sweet.

  4. if its a forged engine id just get a set of 420-480cc injectors and give it to the mapper tell them to keep pushing it till it stops making power. 1.4 bar does seem a waste of a forged engine. i ran 1.3bar on a stock engine with no bother. but its a personal prefrence am a firm belieiver theres no point forging the engine unless your going to push it

  5. Out of interest what has been done for the likes of diagnostics on the engine if anything was to give bother? Obvious the Corolla would have had OBD2 diagnostics. Was the Corolla engine loom used and made to fit the starlet or are you not willing to give anything away lol

id assume the same as myself just plug the laptop into the ecu and it has a nice daignostic system.

  6. i had a simaliar problem with my spec 6 clutch and the release bearing shit itself not long after. id its a spec 6 one id just do yourself a favour and throw it in the bin.

with regards to tyres and such like id pick a decent set of tyres and find a place that specalised in set ups. i had a nightmare with my car wouldnt handle worth a fuck couldnt even do a striaght line with out snaking everywhere at 300bhp despite having every handling mod i see a benefit to. found a place that used to build full track and rally cars and had them do a custom set up and its night and day honestly never drove a starlet that handled that well and the guy gave me a list of sujestions of stuff he thinks would make it even better. wouldnt waste my time for normal garages or places that do generic fast road set ups. i spent about an hour chatting with the guy he was asking about my driving style, roads i drive and every mod on the car along with how extreme i was prepared togo before he even looked at the car. same idea with mapping really its worth finding someone who truely understands every aspect of how to make a car handle superbly.
