  1. I am in the process of trying to source a company close to me with a wideband tester. I work for a Volkswagen dealer and we haven't even got one! I had it on the gas analyser and I have been told that the car is running rich still. Unfortunately I don't have the stock FPR so I have sourced another one of the same spec (new) because it will at least give me a correct reading on the gauge! There is a guy in my area with a 600hp supra so I am just in talks with him to see If he knows of anyone with a wideband. I will feedback with any info that I get!

  2. This is the FPR that's installed on my car I have turned the pressure down. I waited for half an hour and the pressure didn't drop from 20 PSI so I just assumed the gauge was knackerd. I turned it down assuming that 20 psi was "zero" but I must say the car ran far better than usuall. It just felt asif it wanted to go all the time. Hopefully this enough for you guys to identify what FPR this is. I apologise in advance for the dirty bay :( lol

  3. Oh right I must admit I just assumed it would stay there and just left it to that

No need for a FPR if your running standard boost, does it have a gauge? What pressure is it reading?

Standard fuel pressure is 2.3/2.4 bar.

If standard fuel pressure is 2.3/2.4 bar why is mine reading nearly 4.5bar :s (assuming it does drop to zero) that just seems WAY to high for a V running standard boost and surly unsafe/causing more damage?

  4. I have checked the readings on the FPR, at idle its was reading 64 psi which is around 4.5 bar :s and I thought this cant be right so switched off the car and the gauge still read 20 psi. I am now confused surly it doesn't hold pressure when switched off? Or do I just measure the difference between 20 psi and 64 psi which is 44 psi. Can you guys tell me anything about these readings?

  5. Yeh mine did do it an I done the same, replaced the driveshaft on n/s which the noise has now gone but my o/s still does it. So looks like i need to do o/s as well. Glad you sorted it though mate bloody annoying when you don't know what it is.
