Doesn't the actuator do exactly the same thing? Or is waste gate just another name for actuator? And thanks for the info!

Are the driveshafts still available? Would be interested.. How much inc postage?

Haven't got round to doing the diag test yet, I will give the leads a try also if diag test comes back with nothing.

I haven't done no self diag on the car yet how would I do that, I bridge two connections? Which ones? What plugs do you recommend?

Saw you at the roundabout for the lakeside bowling, I stopped to chat and when I was gna talk, you booted it! Lol

The plugs were not gapped, I just got them of the same spec that came out. What should the gap be?

The misfire was there before I replaced all these parts, tbh I haven't checked the cap and arm condition and will do that when I get a chance, I will do a compression test aswell. What's a good reading when doing a compression test? I was sold the car a week ago and want to get her running up to scratch. I have a long list of bits that need doing already

Been keeping tabs on how my car is running, I changed all the plugs, rocker cover gasket and the spark plug seal as I had oil on the spark plug hole (oil all over the spark plug) So thought maybe this would be the reason as to why the car runs slightly lumpy. But it still runs the same, it's missing quite badly. Can you guys suggest anything else? Was thinking distributor cap and rotor arm but it was replaced by the previous owner..

Thank you guys for all the help and yeh if your friend doesn't have the manifold then I would highly appreciate it of you would pm me I will change the actuator aswell whilst I have the manifold off. Do you recommend HKS actuator?

Fmic, fuel pressure regulator. Hks ssqv bov, the car has a manual boost controller but I don't know if it Is linked up properly. AC removal, air filter relocation. That's all the engine mods.

Just had a look, I didn't even know. The car has a boost controller, it also has a crack in the manifold which is possibly much reason for unboost, would that be possible?

I'll have a check over the pipes. Is there anyway of knowing that the actuator is knakered?

What's the standard boost pressure? 0.8 bar? I'll check the pipes.

My car has Been ok and now it's starting to drop boost. The car is running standard ct9 turbo at 0.8 bar but just recently it only making 0.6 bar max. It's got a stock actuator on it. Any ideas?
