Fmic, fuel pressure regulator. Hks ssqv bov, the car has a manual boost controller but I don't know if it Is linked up properly. AC removal, air filter relocation. That's all the engine mods.
Just had a look, I didn't even know. The car has a boost controller, it also has a crack in the manifold which is possibly much reason for unboost, would that be possible?
My car has Been ok and now it's starting to drop boost. The car is running standard ct9 turbo at 0.8 bar but just recently it only making 0.6 bar max. It's got a stock actuator on it. Any ideas?
Yep see that's half my problem. If I knew what they had touched or messed with then I stand more of a chance sorting it. Could my leads be earthing out or something like that. The previous owner fitted magnicor leads? Or damp plugs?
I find if I switch it off then try again it fires up with a lot less cranking but still more than expected. I brought the car with modifications already installed so I do not know what has been messed around with which is kind of annoying now I have the car. I have a feeling it is a fuelling issue but them I could be wrong.
I have a 97 glanza and when trying to start from cold but mainly warm the engine takes loads of turns to crank. Then eventually it fires up. The car has a fuel pressure regulator installed but don't know if it is this thats maybe causing the problem. What do you guys think? Thank you.
I have been a member for around two years now. My first starlet was a n/a sr I had to part with it and now on the look out for a glanza v. Is there anything vitally that I should look out for, any common faults. I did search the forums for a thread that could possibly help but couldn't find anything so feel free to point me in the right direction Lol.
