I know this is an old thread but this noise seems to be coming from my PAS Pump I'm not convinced that its coming from the bottom pulley but I'm very grateful for your guys input. Has anyone experienced anything like this? It's getting very frustrating. Are the pumps on the n/a the same as glanza? Thank you guys.

I had someone start my car for me today to see if I could pinpoint where this noise is coming from and seems to be coming from the PAS pump, area. It sounds asif its coming from the pulley. Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone point me in the direction as to where I can get another PAS pump from? Are they the same as the n/a's?

im after a braided oil feed/return line. pm or reply here if anyone has one thank you

It's probably been covered already but what does it look like from the outside, I found a sticker on the inner door slam of my car and it says LSD on it it's all in Japanese so I can't understand it but before it says LSD it's got my engine number etc etc in seperate sections. Any ideas? It's on drivers side door slam..

Yeh this sounds like my problem ill check the ring gear on fly wheel with starter removed thank you mate

When you say starter sticking in do you mean it's not fully come out of the housing?

Old post but thought I would add, I have just recently started to get a noise (crunching/grinding) on start up, it only when I turn the key for engine start whilst engine is turning over, have a feeling it could be starter motor but you guys have any ideas or had something familiar? Thanks Thought I would add the starter has never failed to turn on the car..
