Congrats mate, took me two attempts to pass mine. Only because the first examiner was a slag £800 !!!!!! ???? I paid £1400 on a 1.2 corsa 4 years ago as my first car. If it's as it should be their computer clearly made a mistake and you have fluked it lol

I'm partial to a bit of green laneing lol. Basic plans are to sit it lower on shocks and springs, lower the rear torsion bar. get a cambelt cover along with a new cambelt. new discs and pads, put a dash back in maybe and some lexan sheet windows

ah ok, Theres one on either the 6th or 8th April at Cadwell, its open pit lane, any beofre then are fully booked. Then theres a couple more over the coming months in may and june.. Will definitely like to have a go on other tracks as well, just that cadwells 10 miles down the road. My brother says often people just turn up on the day without booking and still get on track. I'm sure if your waving a couple hundred smackers in there face, theyre not going to turn you away.

I know how you all love these bad boys so thought I would post what I'm picking up at the weekend. I did my first track day at cadwell on Sunday in a gti6 and it was bangin, so I needed a track car in my life its a 1996 VTS, track ready and apparently its fairly rapid for what it is. Its fully stripped, straight through stainless with 421 mani. Apparently its cammed but yet to have proof, doesn't sound cammy on tickover but don't think they are rough on tick over when they have fast road cams so yet to find out. Its got Dunlop formula R tyres on it the tyres alone are were over 300 quid so f

They should have definitely had the 98 spec interior from the late glanza. I believe SRs were only available from 98 so the facelift glanza would have come out at the same time. The interior is stuck in the 80s

Shame about the pea shooter. Thinking of selling mine soon maybe, comes with all original factory bits, decal set and a few extras. Bring on the boost!

Don't want to sound silly but wtf are you on about? lol

Friend is after a front bumper for his 1993 gt turbo. thanks guys

Sometimes better to put ring only with no info and no texts. Suppose it stops dreamers and time wasters and the only people who would ring up are those genuinely interested in the car. Would say majority of people who text are time wasters

They kept having new wheels fitted everytime they got a punction. If you watch it again you will see hammonds change to some sh7ney five spokes, mays changed to some black multispokes
-
Someones spent some money on that dash and door cards
-
I'd take the bodykit off and put standard punto bumpers on, strip it, leave the steelies on. Sleeper it!!!!
-
What you looking at for just the shocks?
-
I don't believe Hammond repaired that wishbone then completed the rest of the way raggin f out of it overall the rough terrain. Madde me laugh in nearly every shot near the end the wheels kept changing lol

Don't be influenced by your mates when they try persuade you. Like I said, whats the point in keeping the bonnet free from chips if you can't see it anyway. I'd imagine a bonnet bra sat on your car that soaks up all the water, salt and dirt would do worse for your paint in the long run. if you do put one on, make sure you stick a vw badge on there as well, it will fit in nicely
-
People always suggest squares but to 99% of the population if you stuck an 82 with squares in next to one with quads in they would go for the quads. It looks better, fact. Maybe not the 'original' look that some people want but in the modern world, quads look more fitting

Whats the point in stopping a bonnet getting stone chipped if you can't see the bonnet anyway because its got a stupid bra on it. I would rather sacrifice my bonnet to a few chips than look like a dick
