Hi guys I'm after a few pictures of SR decals to take to the sign makers.... I need some of the ones on each side, one from the bonnet and one from the tailgate which goes through the starlet badge. I know not many starlets have them left on now so might be a struggle to get recent pics but maybe some that people had taken previously, any help is appreciated, dan

mine gots dings all down passenger side, went all the way down to essex to get it and the car had lived in essex all its life, suppose you get dents from living in a city.... Mine also had a sneaky key mark down the same side which was touched up. the owner was right sneaky wqhen I picked the car up as he left the car a little bit dirty so I couldn't see it If them stickers / decals come off in one piece ( probs not) could you try and get a template from them as I need some for mine and need some sort of template to take to the sign makers.... or jsut get me some real good pics of them from all angles while they are still on the car if you can be arsed, would really appreciate it. dan

If its the same car that you talking about that I know, the car ended up and windleys scrappy in lincolnshire, brain was all over the dashboard, not a pretty sight. Had to be crushed, no parts to be taken off it at all, not sure what happened to it.

I'm thinking it may require me doing this, how expensive are piston kits? I was told recently repair kits are no longer sold, not sure if a piston kit is same as a repair kit?

Caliper has been sticking for week or so now, My wheel gets extremely hot after a journey so I can't imagine how hot the brake disc itself is getting...... Had the caliper apart three times now and still not any better. The slides have been greased up, I even took the rubbers out just to test as without rubbers the slides literally fall out, no friction at all. Put all back together again and still sticking so that rules out the slides. Pushed the piston all the way in to free that up if that was the cause, caliper still sticking after this! The pads themselves are still ok, not worn right down..... when the wheel is off and you put a screwdriver in between the pads and the disc to simulate the pads being thicker, it does not stick, so this must mean tyhe caliper only sticks when the pads are getting low. I don't mind fitting new pads but the problem will only reoccur when the pads get lower again. The worrying thing is the brake disc warps after a bit of driving as its getting so hot, you can feel it through the steering wheel and this cant be safe! And I dont like using my car like this but I have no other transport to get to work Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've hit a bit of a dead end, cheers

Looking at getting a splitter for me SR, been looking and laguna ones, are espace ones as easy to fit as they have an extra lip?

When getting tyres changed I saw 2 bolts either side of the bumper and when I opened bonnet yesterday to change spark plugs I noticed some connecters hanging near each headlight. And near the rear fog light switch, it looks like its been blanked off. should it have fog lights? and can you get hold of them?

that sounds great, does it need to be cut under the ashtray for the holder to fit as mines just blank plastic or is it a replacement of the whole cigerette lighter surround, if you get what i mean?

Hi guys, im sorta new to the forum and new to starlets in general, owned mine about 3 months now, but i was wondering how i go about finding a cup holder for my starlet and how to fit it. I've found 1 on ebay out of a glanza, but do glanza's have cup holders and other models don't? and where abouts do they fit, under the ashtray or under the headunit. any help would be great, cheers dan

The exhaust got a bit of elbow grease when I first got the car and I just wipe it out as soon as it soots up so keeps it clean. Also, just wondering if anyone knows of a template for original SR decals?

Hi guys, been browsing the forum for a few months now and thought I'd join. I recently bought a Starlet SR in black, picked it up from essex about 3 months ago. Always wanted a starlet since I was 16, had a corsa and 307 before now but thought it was time to buy a car I really wanted. Picked this one up for £870 with 53k miles. Flew threw it's MOT when I got it with no asdvisories, MOT tester said it was the cleanest car he seen of this age underneath which is good. Couple of dinks on passenger side which need to be sorted. Hoping to get some standard decals made up, some clear indicators and corolla manifold.
