  1. Your 5e has a stock crank trigger? Should be a non distributor engine then. You can run batch injection and wasted spark with only the crank sensor (I suppose your crank trigger has a missing tooth).

If you add a can home signal you can go full sequential injection.

  2. Oil fittings should be on the upper side. As you have it now, air can be traped in the upper end.

I'm not sure if oil will drain to engine as it is. The one side gets pressurized oil from the pump, the other goes to engine galleries. Oil pump clearances should hold most of oil. Also i think that oil filter has a check valve in it.

Should be easy to just rotate and lower it a bit

  3. There are some injectors that the spray pattern is offseted to the injectors. Usually it's easy to tell as the nozzle look crooked...

Yours should be fine I would say..

    What are those from?

  4. I'm not familiar with MSD ignitions, but i suppose that to get a full standalone ignition system, like that used on carbed v8s will cost a lot.

You can get a used standalone ecu (i remember someone selling a haltech sprint 500 for around 600ish here). Even a megasquirt, which is a very powerfull ecu, just needs to know some things and work on it yourself.
