mapped is better. think about it for 20 seconds. which of these SOUNDS more healthy: tricking the ecu and injectors to bodge together a map by adjusting paramters sent to the ECU to adjust how the standard map will react through some (relatively) cheap mods or a custom map for your car by a proffesional engine tuner watching different value and adjusting for a good balance of power and safe fuelling

I was having this arguement with a mate, and i couldnt explain it... Fact 1: you cant run boost below spring pressure of the wastegate/actuator Fact 2: with no boost controller you will run spring pressure then how does the low boost mode work in the Glanza/GT? as when you remove the soleniod you run high boost all the time Can somebody explain please? The only explanation i could think of was the oposite of how a bleed valve works, so instead of bleeding off presure the soloniod generates pressure and uses that to 'lie' to the actuator Thanks

although im guessing you have to be dead gentle as because there is no vacuum in the inlet, the actuator will never open the wastegate meaning the turbo will boost forever?

how are you running it with no intercooler? just with a MASSIVE boost leak?

Well, i had my Glanza. and decieded i wanted rid so that the girlfriend and I save some money to move in together. I was driving my sisters 1.4 8v fiesta for a bit, and after the glanza that made me want to end my life. so i went looking for something cheap. I found a Polo GTI. 2000, with 88,000 miles. Just had a new clutch, cambelt and service and 4 new tyres. I offered him a cheeky 1400, he said 1800, then eventually we met half way. I was happy. Heres one of the only pictures I have: The polos are known for coming with the BBS's as standard, but they are known for corroding badly so first job was to clean these up: Decieding that was enough a few mates and me spent a couple of weekends with the sand paper and rattle cans: It then sat like this for a little bit before i decided it was far to high and bought some suspension to do this: and thats where it stands now all thats left to do is so spacers, and my mate owes me a favour so will wrap the mirrors (and maybe the roof) gloss black for me. its no glanza, but its ok for now any opions, guessing your all gonna hate it but as i keep telling myself when i own my own house itll be worth it!

come on mate, its only a tenner. or similar value, make something, some sort of starlet spare. im thinking anything as long as its creative i would take part but obviously i cant as id organise it lol. so people that want in get the form above filled out, this could be a good crack!
