I've got a lotta friends with RX8s who would disagree, there's a reason they're selling for peanuts. My old Altezza when it was standard outpaced my mates apparently 210bhp model, by quite a whack. Nice cars for the cash though
It is that drama factor that I think makes the starlets such an awesome car to drive. They're always doing something! Either making an epic lil noise or lightin up the front wheels when you sneeze. Always liked them focus' though, the best RS focus by far!
My mates got one, it's quick, comfy, refined, nice interior, but it's a little bit bland. I can't put my finger on it but it hasn't got the sparkle I like, a bit of mentallness every now and again! lol Make for cracking dailies though.
If the flywheels not hooking up to the starter properly sureley it would just spin? Have you tried testing both starters off the car with a bit of pressure applied? Not just letting them spin into thin air.
Tiny hole in his oil cooler, when it's thick and cold he probably won't notice a few drips... Once it's warmed up however it's gonna piss out. Try mapping a dead engine. Any luck with the postie?
Considering the size of the lump 350's arent too bad on fuel. My mates selling a 550bhp one for £9k come to think of it, not advertised he's just waiting for the right offer. Supercharged, decent stance etc. Can get from Birmingham to London on £15 of super unleaded apparently. If you paid £5k for a G35 you could turbo it with the remaining 5k... On a side note. Mazdaspeed AZ-1 ;) just for the giggle factor!
Drink oil like an RX8 and have a habit of going pop by all accounts, however I've never owned one just going by the general consensus of my mates! 10k is a gooooood budget, I'd saim for something different and lairy if it's a project. Going off my experience of VAG's, theyre all a bit dull. Even my mates Leon Cupra is uber boring considering it's spec. ^ They can be picked up for 5k, and look epic with a lil work ;)
