He had an opinion, it did shatter. It's just a common theme. That one might not break, but then to pump out reps at a large scale corners are cut. That's just business. Many people have ran rep FPRs and theyve failed dismally in the past too, probably as many people who they have worked for. Personally, I, as in ME, not necesserily anyone else, wouldn't run it. I've been about and tinkering with cars for years, I've also seen replica seats that have failed dismally. Even replicas with Bride material glued on them, generally the seat back can crack on fixed buckets where it curves.

That's my personal opinion on the matter. You could pick up a pair of seats from a reputable company for that price. You wouldn't run a fake SARD FPR because it might kill your engine, I wouldn't run a fake seat because one day it might kill me. That's my opinion on it anyway. He also asked for thoughts, not just a load of people saying: it's proper good. Thoughts go 2 ways.

And were just saying be wary. That's a bold statement, the standard seats are flame retardant and built like barn doors. If you crash and that seat creams in your not going to be feeling too good in the morning. You can do better for the money if your not jus going for the brand. Nothing more or less was said.

http://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/Bride+Seat/s112.html theres a reason they are cheaper, theyve no been proven in safety tests etc and are probably flammabe lol. Theres no real argument going on,

TF035 - quicker spooling TD04 alternative?

Your correct on the 15t side of things, no idea where a flow map is though sorry bud! -
I personally wouldn't pay £270 if the seats fake just for the looks, the thing will probably shatter if you ever had a bump lol But it does look pretty.

Meh, he might just have a Friday car but my mates JCW is never out of the mini garage... Nor was his last Cooper S! He went for a JCW to see if i was any better, he's selling it soon I think. I'd have one over an Ibiza though
-
He'll be a much better mate after you've owned a Cooper S for a bit, might aswell have been built by pre 2000 Alfa Romeo. Theyre alright though, handle pretty awesomeley!

Claiming back money for items 'lost in post'

If no ones signed for it at the other end that should be enough mate -
Had a 2.2 E46, found it a little boring tbh nice car though

My £1200 bimmer, couldn't recommend one enough to be honest. Most car for the money I've ever brought! 328 Sport with the LSD etc and I've been averaging 32mpg due to a lotta motorway slogs recently.. 240bhp with a decent induction kit, m50 manifold and a remap. Worth a look!

I've had to do this before down to an iem they damaged (They threw a brand new bike frame over my fence into the back garden and the headtube ended up bent!!!) This is going back about 4 years but I doubt it's changed much, you fill in a form from the post office, might be able to do it online now, aslong as no one has signed for it at the other end you should get your cash back. Be warned though they will argue the shite out of it. Apparently a 6 foot + drop onto concrete wouldn't have bent my bikes head tube and it was the sellers responsiblitiy for not adding extra bubble wrap. The -
What you after mate? My mates got a new Mini JCW and it's a heap of shite. Honestly it's spent more time having work done under warranty than it has on the road! His fron brakes seized up for the second time in 6 months, it's been with mini for 2 months now while they wait for a new caliper to come in! Bollocks to that. Ibizas just feel a little... well... boring. But heyre decent for what they do.

I like the majority of the spec on that, I'd price it up between £3500k and £3750 dependant on the finicky details such as the paint work, tax, mot, interior condition etc. You could get more if your willing to wait for a buyer but you might be waiting a while.
-
Hmm... I'd have a good test drive in one of them if that's what your thinking about. You got any mates with one?

Don't see the point when C20LETs are so abundant and soooo easy to fit. 8/10 for effort though looks well fitted! Any more pics? That unit looks strangely familiar...
