getting aligned and advised i need to provide?
Addymk2 replied to white-gt's topic in Lifestyle General
As far as I know you can only adjust the camber on the front end. Rear is fixed. OEM would be fine dependant on how your gonna drive it. Then it's only down to camber/caster on the front -
Your a ricer. (Aimed at anyone reading this post. Particularly you.)

You getting any power with the key in? I.e dash lighting up etc. Could have just knocked a cable out tbh.

However, I can't end outside of ebay. I did this once before an

FTO Version R's are pretty tasty and a relativeley unknown. Would sound fricking epic on ITB's. I like threads like this! But then it makes my wallet twitch...

Mines a 2.8 bmw and it's cheaper than my Glanza and my Teg by far.

Starlet Turbo running turbo off a 1.8 golf?
Addymk2 replied to M.A.B's topic in eBay, BidJDM, Yahoo Auction Finds
I like the effort that has taken. But... No. -
Also, you say engine size below 2 litre for insurance reasons... Honestly the engine size makes minimal difference. Chances are you can insure a 350z for less than an S2k...
-
Simple but a nause when your figuring it out might need a breaker bar to line up the rear seat mount aswell. Took me about 2 and a half hours, 6 fags and 3 cups of tea fiddling around with the tilt mechanism etc lol

Cyborgs or Satrias? Cyborgs are awesome. I had a Satria and the handling on that thing was pretty bloody epic for what it was. Building a bastardised Cyborg with the Satrias suspension set up and bottom end would make for a seriously rapid car
-
That's a bargain. Slap the 1.8 bottom end on it out of a Satria GTi and they've been known to push over 200bhp...
-
S2ks are a fortune to insure even for me lol and after driving one for a bit they're monstrously twitchy, I wouldn't recommend one as a first RWD car tbh You can get an Autech Silvia fresh off the boat for 3.5-6k ;)

From NI when you send off the log book as far as I'm aware it automatically changes without a fee. Unsure on MOT. Republic is the same as importing from Japan so you pay import tax etc
-
My 2.8 Beemer is cheaper to insure than a Starlet or DC2 lol engine size doesn't really make a massive difference. Need a budget bud. Just buy an NSX
-
You'll get sick of a DC2, they're torque less lol
-
NA 300ZX/Supra aswell. Enough punt to be fun just not the credibility of there big brothers, or drop a 1UZFE in an IS200. Awesome project.

Any other plug and play, although the Zeps one of the best. Custom mapping a your only way. Your car has a cracked manifold and crazy vac piping. No ECU in the world could fix that, I wouldn't blaim the ECU
-
My old Altezza, mates driving it now Edit: in the background my boosted Altezza I broke and my Glanza lol o and my Satria GTIiiiiiii lol
-
Autech S15s sell for sub 5k, everyone's hung up on Spec Rs! Difficult question to answer without a budget mate
-
NI or Republic?
-
What's your budget? S15 Autechs are underrated NA beasties AE111/101 Levin BZG/BZR
-
Does it need to be road legal? You got a garage? Lightest starlet in the world? Lol
-
Hahaha more extreme way to deliver a car.
-
You earthed everything up properly?

That's not bent it's just got character! How long did it drive like that for? Lol
