speeding or stalling at 30mph due to a slipping clutch........... did you actually mean that or would you like to edit you post to add even a hint of knowlage? if the car wasn't in a fit state to be on the road he could of pulled over and if needed call for assistance, all the above is showing is that he was not in propper control of his vehicle and again if the car was THAT bad that is couldn't do the simplist of things i.e. slow down or stop (as i think we'll agree someone would never knowling drive a car with such a dangerous mechanical fault that it's a danger to other road users) then he was at fault, BIG fault, and heading to a path that dosn't have a happy ending for his licence or wallet.

can you enlighten me how a slipping clutch caused you to speed? long and shorts are you were speeding, your car was un-road worthy and your admiting to not being in full control of the vehicle..... if you do decide to take it to court then make sure you say 'Yes your Honor' before you drop your pants and states in your mitigating circumstances that in the event of being raped by the legal system you'd prefer KY was used to ease the pain of the result!

nothing wrong with street racing, it helps the police take all the pricks off the street and means they can't insure nice cars when they get caught! gotta love the new Section 59 powers that the police have now too oh and your really not giving the 106GTi enough credit for what it is, i have a few mates with them and tbh your going to need to sort out your handling and add a fair few ponies before you'll be able to pull any kinda car lengths on a fairly respectable one!

completly respect your view Paul, i can't stand drugs either, but every one has their vices at the end of the day, some people it's alchol, some smoking (nicotine), some weed, some cars and some sex bit harsh to judge people as third class just because they feel the need to pump chemicals into their bodies, you have to remember that everyone is different and there circumstances that lead to people getting into drugs other then because they think it's cool. (e.g getting hooked on anti-depressants or as an escape from a life of abuse). yes there are some grubby people out there and 9/10 they are driven by their addiction, but thats exacly what it is, an addiction, not a choice that can just be switched on and off. i don't think it's cool or hard to know people who do drugs, but at the same time i don't judge people souly on their bad points, because lets face it we all have some! anywoo, back to the Cars and Totty
