  1. This car makes me want a Glanza... has a real quality look to it, no chav rubbish! Kudos to you Turbo_Newbie
  2. I used an el54 n/a starter motor on my ep82 4e-fte engine with no issues at all.
  3. Looks Lilac to me guys... thats Burple.
  4. OOOOHH THE WORRKZZZ!!!! Nice spoilovers and rimmage... I say no to gunmetal, but offer not alternative suggestion.
  5. I await pictures with baited breath.
  6. Dont get me wrong Liam, I'm still using the Zenki's. I bought them in red.... they are silver now... well pinkish silver. The "anodizing" just washes off in the rain.. Also if you do them up tight after a point the threads inside them just strip out, which isnt ideal. Moral of the story: If you like the look of the zenkis then A.) get them anodized properly when you've got them (www.yell.co.uk search anodizers in your locality) and B.) dont do them up too tight. Otherwise they are cool if you like that extended look and dont want to pay the earth.
  7. I have a set of the ebay ones and they are shit quality... the cheap extended ones, zenkis they are called. If you want decent quality (you do as you dont want them stripping and falling off) then you're looking at 2£+ per nut. Not seen any green ones except the ebay specials I've got... and they wont stay green for long as the anodizing is shite. I wouldnt rule out dealing in dollars, it'll save you a shit load of monies.
  8. Funnily enough Mikey, I was lead to believe the same thing, which is contrary to what is said in this document: http://www.dubse7en.co.uk/starlet/timingbeltstarlet.pdf Thanks to Dub-se7en for that by the way. Anyone know the truth, and apologies for going off topic.
  9. If its all wired up and no broken wires etc then must be a dodgy FCC mate. ;) Let us know if a new unit solves the problem.
  10. Wiring for the FCC and the FCD should be the same i would have thought. Live, earth, map sensor and something else.....
  11. Chillll Winstan!!! I think people have justified what they said with the progressive coils argument. Simon went on to say he couldnt remember what the starlet spring structure was, so in effect his advice wasn't brilliant. Had he been able to say that starlet springs were fine for chopping due to... so and so then maybe his suggestion wouldnt have been met with such hostility. I am impressed with the reasons he gave and they have changed my view on cutting springs, but still.
  12. Meh, he baffled me with Science.... he wins.
  13. Wawaweewa Don't chop the springs for jahs sake! Buy some lowering springs if you cant afford coilovers. If I had 250£ to spend on a decent standard glanza i'd get some suspension stuff... Tein springs and some braces to stiffen everything up.
  14. I have a toyota foglight switch, but its for front fogs, still, same principle surely? I'd give it for 5£ posted.
  15. Dub-Se7en = the gun show! ;) Heres me with my breast/rug out for Riko... har
  16. Good luck dude... I was in Swansea Uni last year but failed like a stupid c*nt. Enjoy it!
  17. You dont have much luck do you mate! Best wishes on a quick and easy repair for you.
  18. If its raspy and sounds like crap you may find that the baffles are shot in the back box. New exhaust is all you can do to remedy that unfortunately.
