opinions are like arseholes, everyones got one. This thread got heated beacuse VTRick and ecksjay didnt simply say 'Rotas are inferior quality compared to high end japanese wheels' they came out with comments like "they are shit". Just childish elitists. I think everyone will agree that high end japanese wheels are better than rotas, but rotas are still fit for purpose, as all the owners of them on here have confirmed.

Can't believe this argument has made it to a starlet forum... Thought this would be reserved for the geek JDM fanboys over on civicsportsclub. Rotas are an excellent low cost alternative to to high end japanese wheels, my rotas are light.. 5kgs each, they are strong, and they cost 300£ with toyo T1-r in mint condition. If I could afford proper jap wheels I'd have them, but Rotas look ALOT better than wolfrace shite and if people think im cheap... I don't give a f*ck. I dont want to know those people anyway.

What absolute bollocks. Rotas are fine. I've seen more people complain about build quality of some 'JDM' rims than I have about ROTAs. I run them and live in the country (with shit roads). They are perfectly straight and strong... alot better than the team dynamics I was running previously. I love the second ones, copies of desmond regamasters. Grids are done to death in my opinion.

Well they are bottle covers, but all the are in reality is sweat bands with car associated logos embroided on them. In theory a Nike sweatband from JJB sports would do tge same job.

You'll probably need a civic radiator aswell... a TD04 kit wont fit with the standard one afaik.

Find a switch live so it's only on when the keys are in and igntion is on. The dash clock should be a switched live. Tap into the feed for that. ;)

I think it's a prime car for older people.... small econo-hatch, perfect for going shopping ot to Boules. Similar to Civics. All driven by grannies..... well, except for modified ones.
