  1. Sent you a message! Thanks!
  2. Reverted wheels back to stockies (but repainted them gunmetal grey similar to EP3's stock wheel color) and refreshed the paint just in time for a photoshoot:
  3. Still on the lookout for a proper LHD dashboard if anyone has any leads please PM me. Thanks!
  4. Anyone have an idea where the hole goes to inside?
  5. So there are 2 hoses that come out of the brake master booster in the EP91. Where does the smaller line connect to? The one that is not the brake master vacuum?
  6. Just for investment's sake – get one now while you can before Honda goes back into F1 and before the new TypeR comes out in 2015. Prices are sure to increase once this happens (Like the what happened to the original AE86 when the GT86 came out). One of the reason's why I'm still holding on to mine... To give you a taste of what a lightly moded (coilovers + 17" tires/wheels + exhaust + chipped ECU still with the stock b16b didn't even change the intake) EK9 can do here's mine chasing a friend's EVO 4 RS around the track: >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-edEVjVs8M&list=UUfV0LTG
  7. @Gainzy I don't have a lot of photos of my friend's Glanza (the one tuned from Japan) but here are a few:
  8. Apologies for the lack of updates... I've been caught up with real life issues like moving to a new place among other things. That said, a lot has happened to the car from last time Let me just give you the major highlights. We've continued fitting the rest of the interior trim: The whole harness has been cleaned up converted from RHD to LHD and tested Started wiring everything up: Check out those fat ass cables that will relocate the battery to the boot That's all for now. In the meantime let me just leave you with this ;) >https:/
  9. I didn't think so myself before, but here I saw a race prepped glanza straight from japan with that setup.
  10. I already have a full blown EP82 race car. I don't feel the need so much for a powerful street car so I opted to go the opposite route - 1 bar ct9 + oem intercooler + emanage Actually I have a friend who bought a glanza race car tuned from japan with the exact same setup (including the OEM intercooler) running at 1 bar with an emanage blue. And its putting to shame b18 civics. This was sort of the inspiration for my engine mod route... Plus this isn't a racecar but will be more of alternate street car to share daily driving duties with my EK9
  11. More detail work... repainted the valve cover with some VHT engine enamel paint!
  12. So a quite a number of things happened in the past few days... Transmission, fuel rail and a other small bits cleaned and painted Replaced the old worm gear clamps with T-Bolt for the brand new OEM intercooler. The rest of the dash panels painted We've decided to two-tone the rest of the rear interior panels. Getting ready to mount the engine. Transmission mated! Here we go! TADA! Engine in! With the axles in place we did for a quick test fit with the TE37V's just to see how it looks. Needs Needs to be
  13. So here's what the painted converted dash looks like mounted Didn't realize the oil filter actually had its own heatshield Painted the remaining heatshields vht flameproof silver + flameproof top coat Painting/cleaning the remaining bits on the engine getting ready for install.
  14. There has been quite some progress on different fronts in the build. Both seats finally mounted on stock rails! Reusing the original plastic seat trims to cover the gutted/converted rails. Also we finally got the refreshed engine back! New clutch going into the refreshed tranny! We also got around to painting the roofliner black with some VHT vinyl paint ...and installing it Finally started painting the converted dash too! Recreating the texture where we had to use body filler to smooth out the joins during conv
  15. @aaddzz123 they do sit pretty high because i didnt modify the brackets that bolt on the floor. But it works with these particular sparco seats that I bought because seat sinks pretty deep so I guess they cancel themselves out. Also I like seeing a bit of the bonnet to use as reference when cornering. So i guess you can make it lower if you want but it also depends on the seat of your choice.
  16. @aaddzz123 I don't have better photos of the rails being converted other than this (it was kind of hard to take photos while the rails were being welded). But essentially the main thing we did was strip off all of the reclining mechanism and then relocated the rear mounting points slightly (turns out Sparco mounting points weren't that far off) and re-spot welded them onto the rails. This particular photo was for the driver side rails. We retained the seat height mechanism to be used as a "tilt" adjuster for the fixed bucket seat. Hope this helps! I'll try to see if I can get you bet
  17. Visited the shop where I sent the engine to get refreshed. Pretty happy with the progress. They'll probably finish putting everything back together this weekend
  18. Also finally got this shipped from my tuner. Another hand-me-down part from our EP82 race car
  19. We went ahead and converted the stock seat rails to adapt to the set of Sparco seats I'll be using for the car. Temporarily placed the harness on the seats just to see how it looks. Of course there's always time for a quick "burnout" LOL
