Bad luck is an understatement had the car a year now and spent thousands replaced engine gearbox and just about everything else possible to get a clean base to work on but back at square one bad times

Not sure mate it started off as a crank case seal and cam shaft seal they have had it back 3 times taken my Roose ancillerys off blaming that for the leak then my dump valve and last of all had my rocker cover off and apparently that and some sort of plug on back of the engine was causing it but after all that bull its still leaking sucks man

No don't think I no it but will enquire you got a number for this chap basically what was suppost to be. a crankcase oil seal has turned into a nightmare and I'm at the end of my tether with the car

Look on eBay d1 earthing kit I think there like 25-30 quid got one for mine it's a universal kit

She goes back under the knife next Thursday what a ball ache this has become and as a courtesy car I get a old burgundy vdub estate faaaaack 3rd time lucky

Still having a problem with this gave it back to the garage they kept it for a few days and come back allegedly sorted apparently left running for ages on the ramp and all was ok they test drive its ok Minute I take it oUt for a spirited drive it starts gathering between the bottom of the timing belt cover and sump the seals been done twice and the mechanic thinks its down to crank case pressure I'm using the standard recirc valve and the cars basically standard so shouldn't be abnormal amounts in there Any ideas

Mine revs to 7000 reading in mph but will only hit 112 mph max

I've been told the power flex ones shake the fuck out of you car ? Sorted some standard ones off I'd workz now thanks anyway -
Basically having to change engine mounts and box mounts can anyone recommend which to use and were I can get these Thanks

I would say the only gear that crunched was 5th and that was only when changing at high speed rest of the box feels ok I'm so gutted just had a low mileage engine fitted aswel now this Not sure if it would be just as cost affectI've to swap the whole gear box cheapest I can find is 200 quid and it's miles away

This week 5th gear has started popping out and going back into neutral was wondering if anyone knows what causes this if it's worth repairing or changing the box Thanks

Ohh I see thanks hope its somthing small it's not using masses top it up every month or so and it's not smoking at all another time I hope it's not the head gasket would be devastated -

Ow sheet when the word headgasket crops up I shit meself. I'll get it checked but its defo using coolant would a small amount of white smoke on idle when warning up in the morning have anything to do with this ? -
Have a gt use it as my daily about 40-50 miles a day most of that on the motorway and I always find the level dropping slowly but nothing major is this all good ?

No the only seals changed were crankcase and camshaft and the sump was sealed up with some sort of sealant don't no what they actually used

The sump being balls is a nice way of putting it ha ha so to it properly I would be best replacing the sump you rekon because it has been done a few times so as socks said probably warped to fuck ?
