  1. Cheers dude! No haven't found the issue yet. I have both fuel and a spark.. Still not starting. Making me think its electrical. Immobiliser affecting timing or something?
  2. Ah shit no.. Where is this!? How do you mean bad fuel? I'm thinking its an immobiliser issue.. Loose wire or something
  3. Right, I have fuel and I have spark. Please someone put me out my misery!
  4. So much love! However me and my starlet are currently not friends as she still doesnt want to start!! STOP BEING A BITCH MOFO
  5. I could see this coming.. Hence my comment above lol
  6. I do agree with you. Its down to the owner I guess. We don't know their financial situation or what reasons they have for selling. If you forge an engine and its for sale so quick then for me the reason for sale must be much more than just, "Fancy a change".
  7. I feel this is aimed at a certain someone?..
  8. Not a stance lover but yes, this looks pretty cool! Much better with the steelies!
  9. Checked man.. All fuses are fine, ignition etc
  10. Me and you both iddy! Really confusing one!... Will go over everything tomorrow on my day off..
  11. doing my head in now lol
  12. Yes! I wouldn't mind but the engine is totally stock!
  13. I can certainly smell fuel in the cylinders mate yes. Will be checking for a clean spark when I've got some one with me to turn it over in a short while
  14. Well as you guys know I drove my second Glanza home 70 miles yesterday and it drove perfect.. Went to go back out in it yesterday and it started up but was very very lumpy, As though it was only running on 3 cylinders. Turned it off, fired it up again and had the same problem... Then all of a sudden it cut out and wont start at all now. Its turning over but not firing at all. Its not the immobilizer as I thought I could have just been a bit of a retard with new alarm but I'm not. I've taken the dizzy cap off, cleaned it out. Changed the HT leads for a spare set and also swapped the king lead for a different one. All with no change. Any help on this is appreciated guys...
  15. I've seen FMIC in behind a 96 bumper and I really don't like it. Then I've seen it cut for the FMIC and it looks even worse IMO...
  16. 96 spec front bumper with FMIC is no good though.. Requires too much cutting and the bumper looks shit then. Think ill be keeping rear oem lip but front will eventually change
  17. Painfully the car wont start now .... Turns over fine however it just wont fire. Checked the Plugs, cleaned the dizzy cap and changed 1-4 leads. Thinking it may be the king lead? Anyone had this issue before?
  18. standard car mate Its going TD04 though
  19. It didn't take me long at all to realize how much I love these little 1.3 Japanese cars. 4 weeks after selling my old Glanza for a UK Spec 200sx S14, I knew that the starlet community is where I belong. I sold the S14 and straight away began my search for what I hope will be a long term car. After being around starlets, UKSC and now the bigger and better UKSO, I have seen and heard about some seriously amazing builds and got lots of ideas for what Id love to do with my own. So, here is Glanza #2... I like to think of it as an almost blank canvas. Its a 1996, 205 black Glanza V with full 96 spec optional lips and the ducktail spoiler. Its covered 135,000K which was converted to miles at 105,000 so the total mileage is 95,000 miles. Over time I plan to convert to a full extrenal wastegate TD04 kit with screamer pipe using standard internals as my pockets aren't deep enough for a forged engine. The exterior of the car will change however my plans for this one will remain undisclosed.. Engine: Blitz SUS air intake HKS SSQV blow off valve HKS Actuator (0.6 bar) Prospeed full custom exhaust system with lifetime warranty Refurbished gearbox Chassis/Brakes/Wheels: 15" Rota Clubstars Yokohama Prada Spec 2 tyres Rays wheels nuts Tein coilovers Grooved front discs EBC Green front pads Front OEM Strut brace Exterior: Reflet rear light clusters Clear front indicator lenses OEM Wind deflectors HID headlight conversion OEM Optional front lip OEM Optional rear lip OEM Duck tail spoiler Interior: Blitz DB Meter Boost gauge Indiglo dials TRD gearknob Passengers airbag (optional extra) Electrical climate control (optional extra) Other: Toad Ai606 thatcham approved alarm with certificate Pictures: After a short time away... It feels good to be back. Matt.
