there isnt any codes logged on the ecu if it didnt flash up, which is a good thing! sure your starter motor isnt on its way out ? james

jesus that idles high! heres a link to the a picture on google once you have bridged them, turn your ignition on, and if theres any ecu faults it will flash up and you said your light is allways on so you should have flashing lights to show a code! http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=starlet+diagnostic+plug&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ofw9Ub-fOuL17AbqtIDIAw&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1517&bih=714#imgrc=cL1vMwVLn8KEBM%3A%3BfAnDWq3yzxXctM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fi85.photobucket.com%252Falbums%252Fk43%252FRambo_020%252F20130221_173640_zps3554ed0b.jpg%3Bht

Under the lid of the dignistic port James
-
eBay and real racing 3
-
Nor am I mate, follow those instructions it's simple as hell! And saves money on a diagnostic test on a garage on the lid of the diagnostic port is a label of what's what so your see where to put the paper clip, and then all you do is turn ignition on ( do not start engine ) and count the flashing lights as td said Post up what the lights show when you do it James
