Akyakapotter's Forged Glanza V
akyakapotter replied to akyakapotter's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
started fitting my braided brake lines ran into a problem with the rear one that goes from the caliper. the fitting is to small so it can pass through the bracket meaning the clips that hold it in place is useless. going to use a washer to stop this one brake line fitting is being a bugger went and got a brake pipe spanner and some wd-40 will crack on when its not raining also just won a oil sanwich plate on the bay for £6.75 bargin -
Surely if they were genuine that you have that would have toyota stamped on them some where my glanza ones have toyota stamped into then surely it would be the same for the sr
-
That's the one that's being a bitch with the braided line fitted
-
so did i mate if the fitting was 1mm bigger i wouldn't be having this problem may see if a washer will help me out
-
but they do nothing because you can move the line left or right and the whole fitting goes through the hole was stressing me right out then it got dark lol
-
ok so went to fit my rear braided lines today got them on but i have a problem. Where they go through the bracket there is a clip that holds it on tight well ment to. The fittings on the braided line is to small so the clip dose nothing and there loose any one who has them fitted able to help me out this is the bracket in red. cheers nick
