My rad problem was down to thermo stat so td one soon

What turbo kit are you running? I've just run into This problem need the bottem hose outlet moved to the other side sigh lol but yeah like every one said jezza Jd tuning on here can sort you out

Ok so I have a civic rad ready to go on but because I have. Zisco set up I need to get the outlet pipe moved to the other side do anybody Happen to have a pic of it moved so have an idea of where to mark it on the rad cheers nick

Yes mate I let it cycle the fan once then went for a drive. Pipes still go hard but nowhere near as hard as it did before worth a try mate my stat was only about a year old but think it wouldn't open till boiling point.

Thermostat bud I've just taken mine out no more bubbles and pipes are not as hard as they were getting going to replace with a Tuning Devlopments one P.s can't see the vid dunno If its because I'm on my phone

Yeah I'm quite relieved to be honist been on the phone a few time to mike at td today he's been a great help bit strange with the temp needle going up on idle then dropping because I have no thermostat in lol

May have fixed it well the thermo opened when I put it in hot water and closed when In cold so thought it was ok looks like it wasn't as I'm now rocking with out a thermostat and the pipes get a bit hard but no where near as hard as before and the bottom hose now gets warm and no more BUBBLES so going to get a td thermo and pop that one in only thing now is its trying to use cold start as it has no thermo but I can live with that for a few days

Vid was warmed up slight throttle going to flush the rad through in a min the bottom hose was stone cold looks like ill be ripping it apart soon

Tested the thermo at 6am lol seams to be working fine. so next thing on the list flush the rad and reverse flush see If its blocked hoping it Is to be honist may as well flush the engine through while I've got it all apart. Time for sleep first though. In hot water And in cold water straight after

Engine temp is fine goes to half way and stays there

That's what I thought but it could be letting a bit of exhaust gas in hence why the pipes are going rock solid hoping the system is just blocked or something along those lines or the thermo packed up.

Temp wise it's fine never overheats I've bled the system the other day rad cap off heaters on full till it cycled the fan wasn't like that then pipes go rock soiled I'm going to whip the thermo stat out and test it and re flush the cooling system I hope it's not the hg I could really do with out that at the moment
