  1. Sweet, think I'm gonna give this a bash at weekend
  2. So you've done this mod then mate? Is it pretty straight forward?
  3. Ah, I see. May have to look into this Hopefully have some good updates coming over the weekend. I'm picking up some wheels on Sat, courtesy of Russleh on here and I picked up a Corolla inlet manifold at the local scrappy today for a VERY good price so I'll hopefully get this fitted. I've been looking around for some sort of fitting guide and/or pics of steps taken without much sucess. Is there anything I need to watch out for or is it pretty straight forward? I'm aware that you either need to get a longer vacuum pipe or move the sensor along the firewall.
  4. Damn this is looking fine TTE spoiler and Glanza rear bumper is a combo that is really growing on me. Those seats look really good too. Bet they offer a lot more support when hard cornering
  5. From Cairneyhill just outside Dunfermline. Currently driving a stratos green n/a Saw a white SR at Dunfermline Tesco last week. Anyone on here?
  6. What's the difference between the Glanza rear bumper and the N/A one? I just thought the difference was the lip on the Glanza one?
  7. I never got it man. Must have sent wrong number?? I'll PM you with the right one now mate
  8. Cool, no worries mate, I think spoiler is a wee while off yet. Any news on the wheels?
  9. Thanks man, its not perfect. Couple of runs where I've put the paint on a bit heavy but I'm happy enough for a 1st attempt. Aye, something to think about! After I finish off how it looks with wheels and (possibly) spoiler, I wanna upgrade the handling so will be on the look out for rear arb, lift kit etc. That might be couple of months off tho.
  10. Nice shots. All 3 cars look really good
  11. Hmmmm, don't tempt me!! I really wanna get wheels sorted out 1st and then go from there. If this is still around in a month or so tho, I might be interested Thanks man, getting there and the more I see the Splitter on there the more I like it.
  12. Was at a bit of a loose end earlier today so I gave the car a clean and took some pics - Wheels next!! Also, I quite fancy a TTE spoiler after seeing an SR parked next to me when I came out of tesco yesterday. Anyone on here with a white SR @ Dunfermline tesco about 8pm ish last night? Looked good.
  13. Thanks guys Really pleased with how it turned out and its something unique too!!
  14. Update - Had a productive day getting splitter painted and fitted. It's not perfect but then neither is the car so I'm happy enough, I think it looks ace tho -
  15. Haha cheers man ;) It's not quite a straight fit, had to cut a couple of inches off each end and then bond the end pieces back on. Got most of the bonding done today. Wee bit more to do tomorrow, finish off the filler, sand and smooth of the edges of end pieces and then get it ready for paint! Also installed some 6x9s I had lying around into rear shelf. I can actually listen to my tunes with volume and clarity On that note, I fancy upgrading the pitiful fronts. Can anyone tell me what size they are and if there are any good upgrades to be found that would still use original location?
  16. Cheers for the replies guy but I got bored looking for them and just ended up running new ones lol
  17. Hi there, I want to fit rear speakers to my starlet. I can see there is rear speaker wire connected to my harness/loom but I can't see if they go to rear of car. Can anyone shed some light on this or will I be best just running the wires myself? Thanks in advance
  18. Cheers man should be good when It's finished. looking forward to getting some work done on it this weekend, hopefully have a wheels update coming soon too
  19. Thanks for the comments folks Hopefully get the splitter finished off next weekend and then I'm gonna attempt to paint it myself. Glad to be doing something different Wheels are definitely something I want to be sorting out sooner rather than later.
  20. Update - Time to get pics up of test fitting my new splitter My mate spotted it on a Proton Wira when we were down the scrappies yesterday. I wasn't to sure to begin with but he persuaded me it would work and I parted with £8 Will need a bit of work to get it fitting 100% and then some paint - I think it's gonna look awesome and a little different to the norm Today my wind deflectors arrived, the were a doddle to fit so I gave the car a clean and then went for a wee drive and some pics -
  21. Cheers mate, things are coming together a lot quicker than I thought Splitter still needs fettled and painted but next weekend before I can work on it again. Pics up when my flatmate brings the laptop back
