It's a different way of looking at it.. But can this potentially make the turbo's life shorter? Sorry if i seem tedious, im still learning the Glanza malarky. -

After speaking to my friend who has a forged 750bhp EVO. He recommends against meshing the turbo.. What's the benefits over a filter? -

Would this be able to fit a CT9.. Or is it literally just for TD04?

Thanks guys! Really happy with it! So, i got around to fitting the dumpvalve last night. £10 for a Baileys which looked brand new. Suprised at how loud it was on a standard car. So i rolled her into my garage as it was pouring with rain outside and i needed shelter! Then the fitting begun, I thought it would actually take longer, but turns out it was a 5 minute job. Making the hoses nice and neat was the longest part of the job really. Then for the test drive! Loved it! Rather loud and that was'nt on full boost as you can see just driving around obiding the law!

I love it! Never modified a Turbo before. Been a Honda guy most my life. But, i haven't been disappointed. Always puts a smile on my face when driving!

Thanks again for this! Sourced a baileys dump valve of a friend. Cost me £10 cant grumble! Took me 10 minutes to fit as the pipework needing playing with! Happy with the sound. Without this picture i would never of been able to! Appreciate that.

Hi Guys/Girls, i couldn't not make a build thread. Been a forum lurker for years. Owned a Starlet sportif Glanza replica a few years ago. I loved it, couldn't fault the car at all! From there i wanted to test this VTEC itch i'd had for a long time. I decided on an EP3 Type-R.. Cannot fault this car in anyway. Performance, looks, economy, interior. Loved it. But, i got bored and wanting something different! The dark side always said "Buy a V" as i always regretted not following through with my conversion plans on the replica. Anyway, So made the 2 hour trip yesterday to Essex. Viewed a

So don't put a dump valve on until I've done a Decat, intercooler and air filter relocation?
-
Thank you, that really helps. There's a baileys DV in the classifieds. I'm guessing with a silicone pipe this will be a direct fit as you described above? I also got chuckes in a brand new HKS Actuator. Not a clue if it's adjustable. I will look Tommorow and get some snaps up. Also, will this still be a suitable setup when I do the air filter relocation once I have removed the aircon system? Lewis

The engine is bog standard! so when would this go?

Hi, New owner of a V! Bought today. Completely standard bar a HKS Catback. Im looking to buy a CT9 decat tomorrow as well as a dump valve. Forgive me for sounding stupid, but I've never modified a turbo car before. What exactly will I need to make it work? I see a baileys dump alive in the for sale section. Is this all I would need? Or is there other parts I would need to buy in order to fit it correctly? Seen a HKS SSQV on eBay. But clearly not geniune. But the kit includes quite a lot. So basically, what exactly will I need? Thanks
