UPDATE***** sadly I dropped a rod this week but on the flipside I have now moved my forged build from next year to now so watch this space for a forged update !!!!! Im unsure on what turbo setup to use as im looking around 1.4bar when completed I kinda like the idea of doing something different maybe a ct9/ct12 hybrid as one has fallen into my lap, it uses the ct12 housing for more flow

As said though i have a ct9 turbo dynamics hybrid but ct12 is built for bigger power i think a c12/9 hybrid would not be at the top end of its range therefore giving better results overall as it uses a bigger housing than a ct9 hybrid does, allowing more flow

yeah I heard good things about a k24's dunno about the lag though do they have much ? also im pretty sure the ct9/ct12 hybrid doesn't use the ct9 turbine housing it uses the ct12 housing as its a fair size bigger

well what im thinking is the results even if they are equal to a ct9 hybrid a ct9 hybrid wouldn't be capable of 1.5bar hopefully a ct9/ct12 hybrid would be possible of giving me results around 250bhp as it would be fully capable of 1.5bar without running out of puff

I am planning on 1.4 to 1.5bar of boost but its outta of my ct9 hybrids turbos range, but I don't wanna go down the td04/05 route. I have now been offered a ct9/ct12 hybrid which as im sure most of you know is half from stock glanza and half from a supra turbo, what im wondering is to be a little different how would this hold up at 1.4 or more what kinda results might I see ? is anyone running one of these ?

Not splitting the block was kinda my plan i already have bearings in but im guessing previoua owner didn't get a machine shop to measure the journels before fitting also need to fit new oil rings as he has non turbo oil rings fitted
