no ive not been in a td04, to be honest Its the lag that I hear about that is my main reason for not going td04,but im happy to sacafice a little bhp for acceleration but also its the chance to do something different just to see what it is actually capable of im not looking for massive power around 250bhp would make me very pleased, which I don't think would be impossible with the turbo I have in mind. but..... if 250 is way out of my reach I will most likely go td04/05

but from what I can gather is all forged pistons will have some degree of marking on them to show there forged

ok cheers I think there probably ross pistons or je pistons imo

to raise boost level to 1 bar you would need a FCD along with a RRFPR

on a stock CT9 set at a bar you should see between 170-180bhp

cheers that's what im kinda looking for, to know where all the markings are found for each brand of forged piston so I can illuminate what ones it isn't

no the guy says no markings no part numbers or logos were engraved on the sides or tops im gonna try for pictures but hes gotta split the engine beforehand

hi I have a offer of stock sized forged pistons but need to identify the brand as the oil ring in one of the cyilinders need replacing and these have to be brand matched. does anyone know how to identify them is there markings anywhere ?? I have been told there is no markings on the sides or top but hes unsure of inside where the gudgeon pin lives any help would be great cheers

can i ask was it a ct12 hybrid or ct9 as my old ct9 hybrid ran fine at 1.2bar but this has a much larger compressor wheel etc etc as it uses ct12 housing

parts are still stacking up, got my new turbo today my plan is to run this CT9/CT12 Hybrid at 1.4 bar no ideas about the results though also got a civic rad
