  2. the circuit opening relay it could be the problem, pull the cover off it and check if there any dirt in there, u should be able to here it click when turn ignition on
  3. 300 sterling for a EMB really, buy an emu and more for that
  4. Mine had a big blow by due to the valve guide being of centre, my friend made me a new guide fitted it then drilled it out centre in the lathe, after that no problems.

  10. Well lads I have a slight misfire. Its only when started from cold then it clears after a few seconds, the car has being sitting up a few years I have fresh petrol in and it should be going through the system at this stage as it was well low before I topped up, my fear is stem oil seals but I don't get any burned oil smoke, any ideas, new sparke plugs in also

Hi lads some of u might remember me but I just got myself another GT after going through a few different cars since I got rid of my last GT am back where I need to be, I will have pictures soon its a 94 toms kitted and its just after a respray fresh 205 black, I just need to put it back together, looking forward to it all.

  15. I should start right up then, check all the connections are good on the looms and plugs in tigh . Only other thing I could think of is plunging laptop in to ECU and reflaching it with new blank map.
  16. There a few switches inside the ECU. What was that ecu last running in was it a starlet
  17. I see now u have 2 greddy looms and one is harnessed in for an ep82, that should work if it wired right and jumper switches are in order.
  18. The one that is cut should be the greddy one and that needs to be spliced in to the boomslang one, the map sensor is used for the greedy ECU to read boost basically it has nothing to do with controlling boost.
  19. A harness will work as long as the greddy loom is attached to it, if its just the harness u get u will still have to attach/splice in the greddy loom in the correct order to it, best take the ECU out and label every wire u need then splice it back in checking wires twice before u do, also check jumper switches are in the correct order before u do.

Get a wideband and some det cans and maybe look a bit more in to tuning, 125% fuel per psi will most likely leave u bog rich with no power an injectors maxed depending on how much boost u are runnin, the timing isn't a bad place to start with the use of set cans that is, by the sounds of it u are just going to just punch in digits people is telling u. U will blow your engine this way that's a fact.
  22. Disconnected the battery for a few seconds and reconnect it, it might do the job I had something the same.
