  1. Yep i put it on its roof, thank god for the roll bar hard top was in bits, I broke it for parts. Was running t28 0.8 with Aem fic.
  2. Savage car man, mine was a lot of fun until I had a little tip, who says u cant roll an mx5, was running the Mani and downpipe I bought from u.
  3. Clean that back good and a few spots of weld from someone handy with one will hold up no problem, that little hole will give incorrect readings from the wideband sensor also.

  6. That turbo might not be fucked, that just looks like carbon, u won't no until u bolt it on and boost it.
  7. Did u check the alarm system for a blown fuse/loose connections/earths, I would put the wireing back to how it was before, if that fails it may be the unit itself.
  8. How do u lose a gearbox i don't understand, if the company got there finger out and had a look around it should be someplace, either that or there was some weak ass lazy mother f***er along the line that couldn't be bothered lifting the weight.
  9. I wouldn't put one of them yoaks near my car, its staying stock until nct then I will run td04 and ecu the same as my last setup.
  10. This way has stopped me from hitting fuel cut without porting the waste gate, most setups will boost creep depending on conditions.

Will still creep surely, when u block the pipe u are on low boost I was seeing 0.3, find a sweet spot with the boost controller(allow for a little creep) and your done, a good boost controller should bring on the boost a little faster also, it stopped me hitting fuel cut on wot it might help someone else, a ported waste gate would be a bonus this only takes 2min.
  12. I would have to agree with u there lad, am just running it until I pass nct then I will stick on the td04, it's just a dead handy way to help boost creep on the little ct9.
  13. Am running ct9 on stock ECU for now, but to help with boost creep I blocked off the high/low nipple on the actuator and u will need a good boost controller to bring the boost up to where u want it, am using an apexi avcr and its doing it's job very well on stock ct9(untouched wastegate).

    Are u saying u see no point in putting this ECU on an 4efte unless your forged, why bother boosting a 4efe.
  16. The block is cast I would be sticking with the steel. U could even strip it with the bolt when u torque it, if it doesn't happen then it will if u ever have to take it out again.
  17. There 16 inch bronze ones with chrome outside, not sure on the offset I will take a look at that, I was thinking someone would have a swap with them. I will get a picture.
  18. Anyone no much about these wheels, are the hard got/worth much.
  19. U should also be checking for detonation/knock specially with a fcd as it alters the timing.
  20. Na i had a look in with a bore scope the next morning after I posted this and all looked well, the small bit of 6 year old petrol might be it, its clearing, good service and a driving may do.

Thanks for the reply Stu,the car has being sitting in storage for 6/7 years, only thing I did was change the plugs out for new ones and also gapped them, am thinking it could still have some bad petrol in there, I need to get it out for a good drive but before that I will check the dizzy and other ignition related.
