No bother, was it on the car or did u just install it, there is some configuring depending on trigger choice, with the 24-1 u surely need 2 vr sensors in your ms, i only have the one in mine its a 1v3.57 thats why am using a crank trigger wheel.

Does the ms have 2 vr outputs, one is for NE and the other is for the G sensor inside the dizzy, remember the dizzy rotates at half the crank speed so it takes 2 rorations for a full cycle, setting must be correct for this in tuner studieos.

Are u using the dizzy for trigger, what version of megasquirt are u using.

A tig weld like that will have no imperfections the steel will be in contact before u start, if u lived here there would be a good chance of work with a few guys i no.

My gear box in in shit shape (syncros), i can get a 4efe gearbox beside me for very little just would like to no would it hold up with 230bhp, thanks lads.

Shit can a timing light not get in there, am mad to get going at it wideband is there and all as i hav being mapping my e manage a few years now, what tps are u fitting, am in the same boat as u i will share any breakthroughs i come across lol. -

Ms is great there is so much ways u can run it, the 12-1 dizzy mod is a mazda thing bit of messing to set up, have u done much tuning yet, i have a power fc 4efte base map am going to convert over to ms and start from there. -

Your using the 24-1 using 2 vr pickups, i was going to do that but i had to install zeal board, i rather a true crank readin and now am held up waiting on a trigger wheel from diy autotune. -

Nice job buddy, am in the middle of megasqurting my car,did u use the distrubitor for triggers or go trigger wheel, i have only 1vr so am going crank trigger wheel, i did mod a spare dizzy to a 12-1 but i never tryed it, have u tryed the ms droid app its shit cool through bluetooth, i use a rs232 bluetooth adapter plugged in to the ms configure its broad rate if u need to and your away. -
I done a mod on my dizzy for a 12-1 wheel, i never tested it yet and am not sure if i will because i just ordered a 36- wheel to mount on my crank, its the best option My ms has only one vr sensor thats the reason for the dizzy mod, but going the crank trigger wheel is the best hassle free option.

Yes the ignition and map wires are an input and output on a piggyback not spliced i do no that, i was trying to let the lad no he is using a piggyback and not a standalone.

4e should be the same i would think, so it has a mag sensor with 2 vr sensors inside, its a piggy back so u must splice it in alongside the 4efe ecu.

Check for a stone stuck between the pads, if not check your pads to see if there is much left on them, no luck from there i would pull the caliper off and inspect it u might be lucky and get away with greasing the sliders up and not have to go for a seal kit.

i see it pulls hard past 5k, a little map and 1 bar boost should work well.

There is copy/fake emb but i couldn't see a map being lost even on them, only thing i could see that can go wrong is if u flash it with a low battery in either the laptop or car this will corrupt the map and could blow your engine, a tuner would have to be dumb not to notice that.
