Yeah they are arseholes, my mate tried and apparently the pothole has too be a certain size before they will even look at your application, then they will drag it out and find anyway too not pay

Nope 98 dash comes with passenger airbag, i think some 97 models did too? But i have a non airbag one in mine

So a small update as ive been busy with work lately, blacked out rear windows and generally cleaned the interior, had my set of wind deflectors from idrees turn up and some clips from jonnyep91. Also awiting a 98 spec dash from azza and some boot plastics from ebay. Hopefully i will get these fitted next week sometime, will get some photos once ive started some more work, still trying to source some parts so check out my wanted thread and if you can help would be grateful.

Im not saying its now worth that but it is still a standard bumper at end of the day, but again its another of those things that depends what someone is willing to pay, personally I would keep it looks good on your car

£300 is a bit highball tbh, would say closer to £200 depending on condition, decent 98 spec looking £120 with fogs and optional splitter £100, megane splitter about £10 on there own
