Yes they are rwd, the only weak link is the rear diff in the earlier models iirc appart from that they are very reliable

Make sure you tell them its a rare car and they are worth alot of money, provide some examples of fresh imports of ebay (like £4k examples) this may help -

I think what the lads on the ford rs owners do is good. They keep a data base of all the cars, owners,modifications,milage etc
