I have quite a bit of play in my rack but it's all good. Had it a year already that time has flown by.
I know nick its flew by, move into house next week so too busy for anything. I've checked my rack and think it's abit of both play in the rack itself and the rack bushes giving in.

First year of ownership on this one has pasted and second service was performed. Still not put my bucket seat in can't find a driver rail for it. Also I've noticed my steering rack might be dying, but il cross that bridge later.

Oem 4efte its same, 182hp@10 psi with oem ecu maybe it can get 220-250 tuned at 0.9 bar.
Don't suppose you compared the pistons side by side?

So I have found a live from the alternator that is only live when the engine is running. I started trying to use a saxo pump but have now got a mercedes A190 pump. It takes up less space and is easier to mount. The speed input makes so much sense now. The pump has its own relay with two thin wires one moves the relay and the other was a mystery until now. Thanks mate. Just Need to find a speed output now.
Maybe pull something off the back of the speedo?

Some really nice numbers mate well done

second set of alloys in
Someone had/has a set on a ep82. Look like et35-40+ fitment won't be too much of an issue on starlet I would of thought, first place wheels usually catch is inner frame rail and outer top arch lining

The knocking on the BC will likely be the nut on top of the pillow ball, mine and a couple of others have came loose before and caused a knocking.

Depends what you are used to driving on, i have them on mine aswell, quite stiff sidewalls.
Normally ball joints, track rods and lower arm bushes cause the most issues up front on a starlet.
Aldo worth noting if the rear beam isnt solid, ie panhard and beam bushes worn, that gives a weird loose rear floaty feel.
7mnth old bc coilovers, new ball joints, track rod ends, and new adjustable panhard rod

Also would like to add the car is on nankang ns2r semi's

Havent heard any feedback about the black series steering rack bushes, 50 quid for the pair.
One of the best handling mods i have done was fit a 4 point under brace, ultra racing.
yeah ive always wanted one dan the starlets dont have sub frame for any structural support

my old (famous) white v had full poly and wasn't that bad, id like to get rack done first, not really a hard job from what I've looked at, anyone done similar job ?
-
lately ive had an issue with my glanza and the way it feels driving down the road, the steering feel is very vague and wonders around the lane on spirited driving its making the car un-enjoyable.
im pretty positive my drivers side front bc coilover(7month old) is knocking slightly, and I've had the car up on a ramp and noticed wet steering arm gaitors so pretty sure the rack is on its way out, this coupled with an average alignment and stock glanza seats isnt helping.
anyone got any thought on this?
