Same with this forum. Or uksc should i say.
Used to be 4 pages of new content daily.
Now its that shit theres no point even updating your build thread.
Yeah remember them days Dan, shame the admins won't create anything to keep people in the forums

I've got one ready to stick in my car, but not got round to it. Just has the same footprint as all the other pumps so shouldn't be an issue
-
Yeah noticed the forum is in limbo mode, anyone got anymore inside this, would hate to see it gone :(
-
Will need wet sand from 1000wet dry down too 2000. But being on a curved part of the panel you may hot spot the paint so be very careful, has the car/panel ever been repainted?

Looks epic!!

Looks really clean
You must have bought better gold reflective tape than me as mine doesn't stick worth a crap .
keep up the work
Cheers Mike. Just the usual DEI stuff and it was sat in the cold garage for about 4 years before hand. I just ipa wiped over the hole thing before just to get any oils off so it can stick adhere well

Anyone on the administration team look into this issue yet ? Or even give a fuck !
Not really mate they should pass the administration torch over to someone who does

Awesome kit Rob. Pretty please make roll centre kits! Pretty sure I could patch together a bump steer stuff easy enough
-
Wheels are refreshed on the car with new stickies.
New ball joints on
Ordered new track rod ends and panhard rod. Ready for setup.
Just need to figure out where the knocking is coming from, just hope it's n ot 4 month old bc coilovers
-
I'd prefer to leave that one due to the springs and exhaust
-
I used one for a short while on my old glanza and didn't like it at all. Made the steering dangerously light. Although I had it wired in on with ign

Yeah great first car as they are really reliable. Just make sure the costly jobs like clutch, new tyres and timing belt are done, just these alone can cost a large majority of the value of the car.

Studs are better but you have to strip the block down, ie rods and pistons out the machine the block. The head needs work aswell.
ARP bolts will be good enough for most builds.
As Dan said a lot of work goes into putting studs in when most people just wanna max a td04 out
-
Waste of time and money with studs(unless using large garret running big big boost numbers) just get bolts

Used to run an adjustable whiteline one, set it to the stiffest setting. Was good. Bur corroded very quickly.
If i was getting one for my current car, it would be the thickest ultra racing one. Believe they are dearer, but better quality. Have one of their 4 point underbraces and its mint.
Sorry to hijack the thread.but does that 4 point brace have much clearance for the exhaust etc
-
Pretty much exactly what I did too mine with my old glanza.
-
Ah I see. I need to Make some. I hate the stock glanza seat and driving position
-
Did you make the seat base's yourself Mike?
-
I think they look freaking great but, imo the thing that I think might put people of tthese other than the price is the metallic flake (glitter).
-
Looks great mate! I need to get my skirts and bonnet
-
Very impressive work Mike
-
Does it start and drive with filter off??
-
Kate just search for a forged/cast alloy elbow about 50mm, they usually have a much tighter turn which should help you clear the filter
